Royal Fans React to Kate Middleton’s Recent Hairstyle
We all change our hairstyles from time to time but when Kate Middleton does it, it makes headlines around the world. Because the Duchess of Cambridge is one of the most famous and photographed women on the planet, fans take notice every time she deviates from her signature style. This was the case recently when Prince William’s wife rocked a hairdo she rarely sports during an engagement for her new role.
Here’s what royal watchers are saying about Kate’s recent hairstyle.
The hairstyle Kate sported to showcase her rugby skills
The Duchess of Cambridge has been named the patron of English rugby and the figurehead for both the Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League. Prince Harry was the patron prior to his royal exit.
On Feb. 2, Kate embraced her new role by visiting Twickenham Stadium. While there she spoke to many of the players, coaches, and referees, and even joined in a training session. She wore a Rugby tracksuit, trainers, and had her hair up in a ponytail.
Since that isn’t a hairdo she sports all that much, royal fans took to social media to comment on her hairstyle.
Royal fans gush over the Duchess of Cambridge’s hairdos
After the pictures of the duchess‘s hair in a ponytail made the rounds, another photo of her at an engagement with Prince Charles and Camilla wearing her hair half up-half down were published. Fans took to social media to discuss both hairstyles and most praised Kate’s dos.
“I love how she gets it right every time. Go Kate,” one person tweeted.
“Like her ponytails and half-updos,” another wrote.
A third chimed in declaring: “Loving it Catherine,” with a hand making an OK gesture and smiling heart emojis.
“She’s perfection,” a fourth commented.
And a fifth simply posted the word: “Beautiful.”
Not everyone was in agreement about Kate’s color choice though
Fans also discussed the outfit Kate’s wore to The Prince’s Foundation with her father-in-law and the Duchess of Cornwall.
“Kate nailed winter chic in elegant grey while visiting The Prince’s Foundation today,” one royal watcher tweeted.
Another person said: “Love that outfit on Catherine.”
While another fan added: “Nobody wears a coat dress like she does.”
But not everyone was in agreement about her look. One user opined that’s because they don’t think gray is the best color on the duchess tweeting: “Gray is not her color! Must be 50 RT of it. I’m tired of looking at it. She’s too beautiful for gray!!!!!”
Kate has worn gray on a number of occasions over the years. The one color the Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t wear often is orange. The reason she steers clear from that hue may simply be because she knows what colors look best on her and orange just isn’t her favorite.
