All RuPaul Movies in Order – The ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Host Has Been in More Films Than You Think
RuPaul is an LGBTQ entertainment icon. He won 11 Primetime Emmy Awards. As a result, RuPaul is the most-awarded person of color in the award show’s history. He’s the world’s most famous drag queen ever and uses his platform to boost the art form’s footprint around the world. However, RuPaul’s film credits are longer than some fans may realize.
RuPaul is primarily known for ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’
RuPaul’s Drag Race first aired in 2009 on Logo TV. The reality competition show moved to VH1 in 2017 with season 9. The main show recently crowned Symone as the winner of season 13. The show has a spinoff called RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Queens have the opportunity to return to the show and win the crown. All Stars 6 crowned season 2 contestant Kylie Sonique Love.
RuPaul’s Drag Race inspired international spinoffs. Drag Race Thailand, Canada’s Drag Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, Drag Race Holland, Drag Race España, and the upcoming Drag Race Italia are only the beginning. World of Wonder continues to expand the increasingly-popular franchise to capitalize on RuPaul’s success to the best of its ability.

The Sony Pictures TV deal
RuPaul’s production company RuCo entered a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television. He plans to continue making LGBTQ content, including television and movies. RuPaul himself might not necessarily star in everything, but he will certainly be involved in the content’s creation to some degree.
RuPaul’s Drag Race winners have the potential to increase their platform. Queens who have an interest in acting could be an excellent way to marry the television show and future projects. Symone is one of the winners who has expressed passion for continuing their acting career.
