When Will ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 6’ Premiere on VH1?
There’s plenty of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent on this series. Thanks to an update from a former contestant, as well as a video from RuPaul himself, fans make be closer than ever to new episodes of the spinoff series, RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 6.
Reportedly, ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 6’ is already filming
Fans might be close to finding out who is America’s Next Drag Superstar. Jaremi Carey – formerly known as drag performer Phi Phi O’Hara – confirmed via social media that he “knows the cast” for All-Stars 6. He continued, stating that that the producers are flying them out and quarantining them for “two weeks” before filming this season.
According to Gay Times, some queens rumoured to return “for a second (or third) shot at winning the crown are Drag Race legends Ginger Minj, A’Keria C. Davenport, Jiggly Caliente, Yara Sofia and Trinity K. Bonet.”
A number of details surrounding this season are still foggy. That includes a premiere date. Although cast members may have begun filming, it could still be months before the premiere of this spinoff series. (A good sign, though, is that RuPaul accepted an Emmy Award directly from the runway.)
‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5’ premiered during Spring 2020
After months of anticipation, fans got the next season of All-Stars directly after the finale of season 12. This season included long awaited performers sashaying back into the Werk Room, including Shea Couleé, Miz Cracker, and Jujubee.
In normal years, fans would expect a new season within a year of the previous season. That could still be true of All-Stars 6, being that they’ve already begun filming this season and season 12.
Fans shared their theories regarding who will appear on this spinoff series
The cast list for this spinoff series has not yet been announced by RuPaul or the production company, World of Wonder. That doesn’t stop fans from speculating, (and sharing their dream cast list,) for this season.
Some expect the New York City Broadway diva herself, Jan, to make a reappearance. She may not have won any challenges, but for season 12, some referred to her as the “robbed queen,” coming super close to winning the Rusical challenge.
For season 11, A’Keria C. Davenport was a frontrunner, making it all the way to the Top Four before being eliminated. This queen had two challenge wins and snatched a few wigs with her runway looks and flawless makeup skills.
After her appearance on the RuPaul’s Drag Race: Holi-Slay Spectacular, fans were reintroduced to this beautiful performer. Sonique first appeared on season 2 of this reality competition series. Although she doesn’t have any challenge wins, fans how to see her new aesthetic and charisma on All-Stars 6.
