Taylor Swift’s fans can’t calm down. The pop star’s music video for “You Need To Calm Down” featured celebrities from the LGBTQ community. That includes Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, and RuPaul, the host of RuPaul’s Drag Race. A few Drag Race contestants also made an appearance in Taylor’s video. Here are the drag queens featured in “You Need To Calm Down.”

Jade Jolie

This queen was on season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. During the Snatch Game, a challenge where the contestants impersonate celebrities, Jade Jolie chose to impersonate Taylor Swift. It’s come full circle for this performer, as she’s now impersonating Taylor Swift in the artist’s music video. Each queen portrayed a different pop diva and Jade Jolie, portraying Taylor Swift, even had a lip-sync moment.

Adore Delano

She’s a Libra, she likes to party, and she’s featured in “You Need To Calm Down.” Adore was a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 6 and RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 2. She’s known for being a singer and one of the most charismatic contestants on the reality competition show. Adore Delano played Katy Perry in this video.

A’keria C. Davenport

One of the drag queens most recently on RuPaul’s Drag Race, A’keria Chanel Davenport was a finalist on season 11. She was recently named of one New York Magazine’s “top 100 Most Powerful Drag Queens in America.” Since appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race, A’Keria performed in events nationwide, for Pride Month. A’keria C. Davenport played Nicki Minaj in this video.

A veteran of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Delta Work appeared on season 3. According to RuPaul’s Drag Race fandom, “Delta won a Primetime Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Hairstyling for a Multi-Camera Series or Special’ for RuPaul’s Hair In Season 10. She is the first ever [Drag Race contestant] to win an Emmy. ” Delta Work played Adele in this music video.

Thank you. Another veteran, Tatianna first appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 2 and then returned to compete on RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 2. One of Tatianna’s most iconic moments on the show was her lip sync with Alyssa Edwards to “Shut Up and Drive” by Rihanna. She also released her own album, entitled T1.Tatianna played Ariana Grande in this video.

A contestant on season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Trinity K. Bonet recently earned many opportunities, including an appearance on The Ellen Show and in Taylor Swift’s music video. The drag performer also attended RuPaul’s DragCon 2019 in Los Angeles. Trinity K. Bonet played Cardi B. in Taylor Swift’s video.

Riley Knoxx

This drag performer did not compete on RuPaul’s Drag Race. However, Riley Knoxx is known as one of the fiercest drag Beyoncé impersonators. It was only fitting that Taylor Swift had this drag queen appear in her video as Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. Riley Knoxx also calls herself a singer and an actress, according to her Instagram bio.
