‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Once Featured a Kardashian Musical
Recently, a Keeping Up with the Kardashians fan on Reddit dragged up a video from 2017. The clip from RuPaul’s Drag Race features a Kardashian musical. Yes, a Kardashian musical. The piece is a triumph of musical prowess and hot dance moves.
The contestants on the show went all out in their portrayal of Kris, Kim, and the gang. North even makes an appearance. The musical predicts that by 2025, she’ll be queen of the Milky Way galaxy.
The Kardashian musical pulled no punches
The RuPaul contestants clearly revere the KarJen clan, calling them “the new royal fam.” The musical dives into how the rose to fame. It starts with Kim’s relationship with Paris Hilton in 2005. It credits Kris Jenner with inventing the concept of a “momager.”
Although the musical is sometimes reverent, it doesn’t sugar coat things. Kris is portrayed as pushing her daughters to fame, which was her job as a momager, after all. Kris’ character also tries to get in on the “Sisters” song, saying, “Don’t you mean four sisters?”
Kris is often accused of acting more like a sister than a mom with her children, so the musical was spot on (although a little mean).
It also pokes fun at the girl’s dating history. At one point, Kim’s character sings “there’s Ray J., and Kanye, with a pit stop in the NBA.” Kim rose to fame in part thanks to a sex tape of her and Ray J that was leaked.
The pit stop in the NBA is presumably a shot at Kim’s 73-day marriage to Kris Humphries. But the most jaw dropping moment of the musical has to be when Blac Chyna rushes on stage, saying “Don’t think y’all could do this without me.”
Kris can be seen on the side asking her to be cut out, which is basically what happened in real life, at least according to Chyna.
Fans loved the ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Kardashian musical
Fans thought that the musical was perfect. They were especially impressed with Kris, who looked a lot like the real Kris Jenner. One fan wrote “Oh my god the Kris was INCREDIBLE.”
The Kris character was very animated. Even while other characters were taking center stage, she stayed in play, doing little things that Kris would definitely do. Such as snapping selfies or taking calls on the side. The Chyna scene was especially well-received, with one fan writing: “Omg that was hilarious !! Kris and Chyna 😂”
The role of Kris was played by Alexis, and some fans thought that it was her best role yet. One Youtube user wrote “I was never a fan of Alexis but she absolutely SLAYED Kris Jenner.” The real Kris would expect nothing less.

Fans want to see more Kris Jenner, and KarJen impersonations in general, on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Fans of both the KarJens and RuPaul’s Drag Race think that Kardashian impressions, especially Kris, would be perfect for Snatch Games.
In Snatch Games, the contestants impersonate pop culture figures. The goal is comedy. Based on how hilarious the Kardashian musical was, there are clearly bits of comedy gold to uncover in the KarJen clan, and who better than a Drag Race contestant.
As one fan wrote, “Ughhh can’t believe no ones ever done Kris for Snatch Game! Closest we got was Jan’s audition tape was Kris…woulda loved it for SG.” While fans were in agreement that Kris would be the best for Snatch Games, people think that all the Kardashian Jenners should be roasted on the show.
