With Miz Cracker’s jokes, Jujubee’s cat stories, and Shea Couleé’s runways, RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5 had one of the most talented Top Three’s of all time. Although only one queen became “America’s Next Drag Superstar,” there were a few other contestants eligible for the crown.

Technically, Miz Cracker had the most wins on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5’

There were a handful of queens who returned to the competition for All-Stars 5. With the season complete, though, season 10’s Miz Cracker was the queen who came out on top with the most wins, cementing her place in the Top Three with Jujubee and Shea Couleé.

That’s not to say that Jujubee and Shea Couleé didn’t win any challenges. Jujubee won a challenge, only to lose a lip-sync to that week’s assassin, Monét X Change. Shea Couleé won one of the most important challenges of the season, Snatch Game, as the celebrity Flavor Flav. She also won with her “I’m in Love” verse about Chadwick Boseman.

However, as viewers have seen throughout Drag Race Herstory, it doesn’t always come down to the number of wins a queen has. The winner of All-Stars also has to have plenty of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent. For season 5 of this spinoff, the winner was Shea Couleé.

Shea Couleé won ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5’

After weeks of spirited competition, and a few iconic lip-syncs, Shea Couleé made it to the Top Three of the competition. Eventually, she earned the crown, becoming “America’s Next Drag Superstar.”

This win came after a disappointing exit from season 9, where Sasha Velour’s rose petal moment resulted in her elimination from the competition. She worked her way back up, though, even making references to the moment with her runway looks.

Who did fans want to win ‘All-Stars 5’?

Based on the number of likes and retweets Shea Couleé received on the official RuPaul’s Drag Race Twitter account, she was the clear fan-selected winner of the season. That’s not to say Jujubee and Miz Cracker’s pictures didn’t earn thousands of likes from viewers of the reality competition series.

According to one poll from Gold Derby, fans claimed that Jujubee should’ve won. Jujubee received 44% of the votes, while Shea Couleé only earned 40%. Was it a “Shangela was robbed” situation? Definitely not. But the voting was still pretty close. Miz Cracker, even though she had the most “wins,” came in third in terms of who fans wanted to win.

No matter. When the queens watch the finale together (socially distanced, of course,) both Jujubee and Miz Cracker congratulated Shea Couleé on snatching the crown and the cash prize. Fans can learn more about these competitors from their social media accounts.
