Ryan Edwards Is Engaged Again, but He’s Not Actually Divorced Yet
Ryan Edwards’ life is changing rapidly. Since meeting his girlfriend, Amanda Conner, in 2023, he has returned to the Teen Mom franchise, found a new place to live, and has largely stayed out of legal trouble. He reportedly has a baby on the way, too. A new baby isn’t the only change he’s planning on, though. Ryan Edwards is allegedly engaged to his new love. There is a major hiccup with his wedding plans, though. He is still married to his old love, Mackenzie Standifer.
Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner are reportedly engaged
Amanda Conner and Ryan Edwards have been dating for over a year now. The couple is reportedly ready to take their relationship to the next level. Conner was spotted sporting an engagement ring in a recent TikTok video.
While some followers thought the ring was on the wrong finger, Conner quickly corrected them, insisting she was wearing it on the correct hand. Her comment seems to confirm the engagement, although neither Edwards nor Conner have made an official announcement. They haven’t announced the pregnancy that followers feel sure of, either. Neither has commented on Standifer’s ascertain that Edwards fathered a secret child years earlier, either.
While plenty of followers are happy for the couple, others aren’t convinced the engagement is good news. They note that the relationship is moving quickly—so quickly, in fact, that Edwards is still married to someone else.
He is still married to someone else
There is one major problem with the Ryan Edwards engagement. He is not actually single. The troubled Teen Mom star is technically still married to Mackenzie Standifer, and there is no telling how long their divorce will take to finalize.
Standifer filed for divorce from Edwards in 2023 after his drug-fueled rampage left her house almost destroyed. She was granted an order of protection against Edwards at that time. He eventually went to court-ordered rehab, where he met his now-fiance. While Ryan Edwards was busy in the early moments of his relationship with Conner, nothing was done about his marriage to Standifer. A judge dismissed the case due to inactivity in February 2024.
Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan Edwards have both moved to reinstate the divorce process and end the marriage. Now, they are waiting for a judge. Until a judge finalizes the divorce, they are still legally married, meaning Edwards is not yet free to say “I do” again.
