Ryan Edwards reveals his massive MTV pay rate
Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer were in court earlier this month and shared a lot of information with the judge. Edwards submitted paperwork in his ongoing custody battle with Mackenzie Standifer revealing his generous pay rate for Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. According to paperwork submitted to the courts, Edwards earns over $16,000 monthly. In court documents obtained by the U.S. Sun, the father of four revealed that his earnings come from his appearance on the reality TV series and a job as a mechanic. Standifer, who earns substantially less than her soon-to-be-ex, has not received child support from the father of her two children since they split in 2023.
A court hearing has set Edwards’ child support commitment at $1,500 per month, but that amount is subject to change after additional testimony. No ruling on back child support was made. In 2024, Edwards petitioned the court for custody of his two children and also asked the court to order Standifer to pay child support despite admitting he’s only seen his children for less than 30 days over the last 12 months.
Why did Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan Edwards break up?
Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan Edwards’ divorce has not yet been finalized. The process has been just as tumultuous as the couple’s relationship. The former duo wed in 2017 but had a relationship dotted with legal issues and drug addiction for Edwards.
They officially split in 2023. Following the breakup, Edwards allegedly broke into the home he once shared with Standifer and their children and destroyed the house, ripping appliances off the wall, overturning furniture, ransacking his children’s rooms, and scrawling obscene messages on the walls. Standifer took out a restraining order against her former partner. Edwards was remanded to court-ordered rehab.
Edwards met his now-fiancee, Amanda Conner, while in rehab. The couple welcomed their first child together this month. Standifer has shied away from the spotlight in the years since the split. It is unclear if she is in a relationship.
