Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Fans Convinced She’s No Longer Engaged to Christian Biscardi
Since her exit from Jersey Shore, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has kept much of her life private. That is also the case with her relationship with Christian Biscardi. But now, some of Giancola’s followers have noticed Biscardi is missing from her social media — including their engagement post. Many people are convinced Sammi “Sweetheart” and her fiancé called off their wedding. Here’s what we know.

According to previous social media posts, Giancola and Biscardi got engaged on Mar. 5, 2019. Both New Jersey natives, the two have been together since 2017.
In June 2020, Giancola described what it’s like dating someone out of the public eye. “It’s kind of exciting,” she explained to In Touch Weekly. “He’s no one in the business, it’s just somebody. I’m learning to keep my relationship stuff a little more private — so that’s all I’m gonna say about it.”
Many Jersey Shore supporters were happy for Giancola. Early on, Giancola kept fans updated with wedding planning, including when she purchased her wedding dress. But then the pandemic put a wrench in wedding planning.

Jersey Shore fans and the roommates were never sure when Giancola’s original wedding date was. Many of the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast were convinced Giancola wasn’t going to invite them.
“We haven’t spoken to her in a while,” Giancola’s former co-star Deena Cortese admitted to In Touch. “[Sammi] came to my baby shower and she met CJ, and then we kind of lost touch.”
“She came from a TV show that she clearly doesn’t want to be a part of anymore,” Jenni “JWoww” Farley added. “So, there’s probably that give and take of having us part of [the wedding]. I wish we could talk to her about it.” Regardless, Giancola’s former roommates wish her well.
In April 2020, news broke that Giancola had to postpone her wedding thanks to the pandemic. At the time, a source told Us Weekly that the wedding was “postponed until September.” When September 2020 arrived, there was no news of Giancola tying the knot.

On the Jersey Shore Reddit thread, fans were some of the first people to notice Giancola and Biscardi no longer follow each other on Instagram. What’s more, Giancola removed the mention of Biscardi from her bio.
“He deleted all his pictures with her,” one fan pointed out. “She has some left up, but not all of them. Does this mean Single Sammi?” Many fans hope Giancola’s potentially single status could mean her return to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
But in reality, that’s not likely to be the case. Giancola has been focused on her business ventures outside of reality TV, including her boutique Sweetheart Coast.
Is Sammi’ Sweetheart’ single now?
According to In Touch Weekly, Biscardi has his relationship status set to “single” on Facebook. At this time, it’s unclear if he and Giancola are taking a break or truly done for good.
