Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Roasts Herself on TikTok, ‘Jersey Shore’ Fans Are Obsessed
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola was once known for dating Ronnie Ortiz-Magro during the early seasons of Jersey Shore. Now, the MTV reality star is roasting herself on TikTok for another thing she is known for — her Jersey Shore fashion choices.

When Jersey Shore debuted on MTV in 2009, Giancola’s go-to outfit was short-shorts and a top. Eventually, most of her outfits consisted of white shorts, pants, or skirts paired with black tank tops and blouses. Now, the Jersey Shore star is critiquing her former style on TikTok.

On Dec. 19, Giancola posted a TikTok that has well over three million views at the time of publication. “Thinking I was hot with a corset [and] straps showing, white shorts, and a spray tan,” she captioned the video.
The latest viral trend on TikTok involves people roasting their past selves, mainly for their fashion choices, using the popular “I give you a one” audio of Tyra Banks from America’s Next Top Model. Then, Giancola exposes the photo of an outfit similar to something she would wear in any given episode of Jersey Shore.
“But this was a look back then!!” a TikTok user commented on Giancola’s post. “These comments lol thanks everyone,” Giancola said to her TikTok followers.
“‘The shorter the shorts the better’ – Sammi 2010,” a fan said on Reddit. “Lol she was obsessed with those shorts,” replied another Jersey Shore fan. “Was devastated when [Jenni] ‘JWoww’ [Farley] accidentally got Ron Ron juice on them.”
“I feel like her style back then wouldn’t be so bad nowadays,” replied another Reddit user. “She never wore anything too crazy. [Nicole] ‘Snooki’ [Polizzi], Deena [Cortese], and Jenni on the other hand. Those outfits definitely need to stay in that era.”
Sammi is missing from the ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Season 5 trailer
On Jerzday Dec. 16, 2021, MTV released a teaser trailer for the new season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Much to many of Giancola’s supporters’ disappointment, she is missing from the trailer for the new season.
Jersey Shore fans have speculated about Giancola’s return to reality TV for a long time. When Ortiz-Magro left the series in May 2021 to tend to his mental health, some fans were convinced Giancola was going to come back to film.
But now that we have some footage from the new season, it’s looking less likely Giancola will be part of it. Since leaving the show, Giancola has focused her energy on her two businesses: Sweetheart Styles and Sweetheart Coast. At this point, there doesn’t seem to be any ill will between Giancola and her Jersey Shore roommates. However, it seems Giancola’s reality TV days are far behind her.
