While the Olympics are heating up in Paris, it’s not all about the sports. Celebrities have been flocking to the games for days, and some of the world’s biggest stars have been spotted supporting their favorite athletes. All those celebrities in one place are giving rise to plenty of reunions. Sarah Jessica Parker reunited with her Sex and the City: The Movie co-star, Jennifer Hudson, in the City of Light. The reunion has sparked rumors about Hudson reprising her role as Louise from St. Louis.

Jennifer Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker were spotted together hanging out in Paris. The pair ran into each other in Paris and snapped a photo together in front of the Eiffel Tower. The photo certainly gave Carrie Bradshaw and St. Louise vibes.
Hudson shared a photo from their time together on Instagram and Twitter. Hudson wasn’t shy about how she was connected to Parker. She opted to use a quote from her Sex and the City: The Movie character in the caption. In doing so, Hudson sparked rumors about her potential return to the franchise.
Will Jennifer Hudson reprise her ‘Sex and the City’ role?
Hudson has been open about her interest in reprising her role as Louise in the Sex and the City reboot. Hudson said she would be open to returning to the role shortly after And Just Like That… was announced, but she did not appear in season 1. Rumors circulated about a potential season 2 appearance, but Louise didn’t return to Carrie’s life.
Season 3 is still being filmed, so it’s always possible that Hudson could pop up. Fans would certainly like it. Hudson’s Instagram comment section was filled with people asking her to reprise the role or appear in a cameo. She has not replied to the comments, but considering her earlier words on the subject, it doesn’t seem like she would be against it.
When will season 3 of ‘And Just Like That…’ premiere?
While we don’t know if Louise from St. Louis will appear in season 3, we do have some basic intel about the upcoming season. We know that three new men will appear in the series in guest roles, and we can safely say Carrie and her on-again-off-again beau, Aidan Shaw, will attempt to rekindle their relationship once again. We also know that Miranda will be dating when season 3 opens.
So, when can fans watch the action? While Max has yet to release an official premiere date, the streaming service provider did share a “first look” video for what is to come in the future. And Just Like That… was included in that promo video. The season is expected to premiere in 2025. Although there is no exact date, it’s safe to assume fans can expect to see the series early rather than later in the year.
