Black Widow and the Incredible Hulk have a few things in common, including their shared indifference toward shawarma. However, the actors behind these Marvel superheroes actually share the same birthday, as highlighted in several interviews.

Here’s what we know about the Avengers actors Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo.

Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo are two actors from Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

Known for her role as Natalia Alianovna “Natasha” Romanoff, Johansson appeared in several Marvel productions. Recently, that included the 2021 release Black Widow, telling the origin story of the former Russian spy-turned earth’s mightiest hero.

Ruffalo, who previously starred in the rom-com 13 Going On 30, appeared as Bruce Banner, a scientist who sometimes transforms into the incredible hulk. This character also has a close relationship with Black Widow, as seen in films like Thor: Ragnorok.

Johansson shares a close friendship with several of her co-stars. Johansson and Robert Downey Jr.’s relationship often extends beyond their appearances in Marvel movies like Avengers: Infinity War. The Black Widow star even shares a birthday with the actor who portrays the Incredible Hulk.

Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo share the same birthday

According to the Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom website, Natasha Romanoff’s birthday is on December 3, 1984. Bruce Banner’s birthday is on December 18, 1969. However, the actors behind these characters actually have the same birthday.

During a 2015 interview with On Demand Entertainment, the actors answered questions about Marvel’s recently released film Avengers: Age of Ultron. At one point, Johansson asked her co-star, “wait, what day were you born?”

“Nov. 22,” they said in unison, continuing their birthday-twin responses at the same time.

“You too,” both Avengers said. “That’s so weird. Woah.”

The actors made a similar joke while visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live that same year. Of course, Ruffalo is older than the Black Widow actor, with about 17 years separating these co-stars.

However, they wouldn’t be the only celebrities sharing this November birth date. Halloween’s Jamie Lee Curtis, model Hailey Bieber, and tennis star Billie Jean King were also born on Nov. 22.

What is the shared zodiac sign of Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo?

Born on Nov. 22, Ruffalo and Johansson’s zodiac sign is Sagittarius. According to an astrologist from Allure, people with this sun sign are particularly unique. Sagittarius individuals exhibit a “dynamic blend of passion, curiosity, intensity, and adaptability.”

Because the Saggitarius dates run from Nov. 22 through Dec. 21, Ruffalo and Johansson are technically on the cusp of Sagittarius and Scorpio.

That makes these actors could exhibit traits of both sun signs. Scorpios, by contrast to Saggitariuses, are known for their determined and often bold personalities, which makes sense for anyone in a creative field.

Several Marvel productions starring Johansson and Ruffalo, including Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Avengers: Endgame, are available on Disney’s streaming platform, Disney+.
