An insider who spoke with The Daily Mail claims Disick strongly suspects his teen son is having trouble with his mother because of the recent upheaval in the family’s operations. Disick believes Mason Disick is upset and angry that his father is no longer invited along on family trips. He and Kardashian spent time together for years after their official split.
The insider told the publication that Mason had been spending more and more time with Scott before deciding to live with his father. It doesn’t sound like the teen has said he’s unhappy with his mother’s marriage. Still, the insider thinks Scott Disick is implying that Mason and his mother wouldn’t be experiencing a rift if Kardashian’s marriage to Travis Barker had not destroyed the co-parenting strategy that had worked for years.

Since things between Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian got serious, there have been plenty of tense moments while the family figures out a new dynamic. Before Barker came into the picture, Disick and Kardashian vacationed together. Sometimes, they were joined by Scott’s then-partner. Disick was also included in almost all Kardashian family events, even when Kardashian was dating other men.
Once Barker and Kardashian’s relationship got serious, she decided to largely ice out Disick. Several times, other family members have expressed resentment and guilt for being forced to turn their backs on Disick. Kendell Jenner expressed concerns over Kardashian’s lack of sympathy for the father of three of her children. Khloé Kardashian has also expressed concerns.
While Kourtney Kardashian insisted it was her decision to step back from Scott Disick, fans are unconvinced. Followers have long suspected that Travis Barker has been calling the shots regarding Kardashian’s co-parenting relationship with Disick.
