Scott Disick became a household name when his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian became front and center on Keeping up with the Kardashians (KUWTK). They had just started dating when the show began and despite his sometimes selfish behavior, fans loved what he added to the show. But few people know much about Disick pre-Kardashian. Do a little digging, and you’ll find some very interesting stuff.
Scott Disick was a YA model
That’s right. Teenage Disick modeled on the cover of several young adult novels, most notably Heartland. This happened back in 2001 and an eagle-eyed fan brought it to the world’s attention in 2013. There are pictures to prove it because the books are still on Amazon. It’s Fabio-level good, too. You can definitely tell that he could work a modeling angle. That’s probably why all his solo shots look like he’s modeling for something. Is this where his cocky behavior began?
Probably not. A fellow model from those days told InTouch that he wasn’t like he is now back then. “Scott was an awkward teenager — completely different than how he portrays himself now,” she told the magazine. “He really just came in, got makeup done, stood in front of the camera and left pretty silently, too. Nothing at all like the Scott we know now.” Whether he truly liked it or not, she’s definitely right. He’s different today and certainly more comfortable in front of the camera – and being himself.

Disick has done many, many odd things in his time that have gotten fans talking— like the cane and his Lord title. So what are they saying about his modeling days? First and foremost, they’re pretty shocked that it was actually him on the cover. Of course, they can see it now, but it wasn’t obvious without the head’s up from the one very astute fan.
One fan did say that it was a “weird experience” to be halfway through the series before she realized it. Perhaps the best comment from a fan came in reference to the One Day You’ll Know cover. It reminded her of “his shocked face before a 3-episode long mental spiral when Kourtney reveals she’s pregnant yet again.”
How else Scott Disick makes his money
Aside from his modeling past, Disick has made money from his appearance on KUWTK and various spin-offs. He’s also upped his net worth to $16 million through his numerous product endorsements and celebrity appearances. While he may not be on KUWTK anymore, fans have already said that they’d love the show to end with a Kardashian and Disick wedding. That would certainly keep him rolling in the dough because if that relationship – or episode – ever came to be.
One of his more recent endeavors has been a clothing line, Talentless. The clothing line is mainly loungewear and he just released a $49 “Please wash your hands” t-shirt in light of the coronavirus outbreak. If anything, the man sure knows how to capitalize on a situation. He’ll likely have no problem keeping the money rolling in for years given how popular he is. Whether that’s thanks to his Kardashian connections or not is something fans will probably never know.
Is Scott Disick still modeling?
It doesn’t appear Disick did any official modeling since his teenage days unless you count modeling his clothing line. But modeling is still in his orbit as he sure dates plenty of them. His current lady is model Sophia Richie and things are pretty serious.
