Federal agents arrested hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in September 2024 following the March 2024 Homeland Security raids on two of his properties. Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, which included racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Now, his 17-year-old twins, D’Lila and Jessie Combs, are allegedly finding a new place to live after their father’s arrest. Here’s what a source said regarding the twins’ feelings.

D’Lila and Jessie Combs allegedly feel their father, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, has been ‘targeted’

Sean “Diddy” Combs has seven children: Quincy Taylor Brown, 33; Justin Combs, 30; Christian “King” Combs, 26; Chance Combs, 18; D’Lila and Jessie Combs, 17; and Love Sean Combs, 1. He had his twins, D’Lila and Jessie, with his long-term girlfriend, Kim Porter. Diddy and Porter started dating in the ’90s and had an off-and-on relationship until they split for good in 2007. Porter later died of lobar pneumonia in 2018.

Porter’s friend, Lawanda Lane, stepped up as a caregiver for D’Lila and Jessie since Porter’s death. Lane has also taken on a more prominent role for the twins since Diddy’s arrest. A source told The Sun that Lane and the twins were in Los Angeles looking for places to rent in August 2024 so they could move out of Diddy’s primary home. According to the insider, D’Lila and Jessie find the situation with Diddy “incredibly tough,” as they’re still in school.

“Being a teenager is hard enough, and now they have to go through this being so public,” the insider continued. “They have been looking for places to rent in the past few months with their caretaker, Lala. They want to focus on trying to have things as normal as possible at the moment as they prepare for college.”

The source added that the twins feel like Diddy has been “targeted” with the arrest. They plan to keep a low profile as the court case proceeds.

Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs’ Jail Visitors Must Follow These Rules

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs put his LA mansion up for sale

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ twins, D’Lila and Jessie Combs, might have no choice but to move out of their father’s LA mansion. He put the 17,000-square-foot home containing 10 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, and a multistory guesthouse up for sale for $61 million. Diddy bought the home in 2014 for $40 million.

One source told In Touch Weekly that Diddy doesn’t need the LA place, as he prefers to live in his Miami home. Another source said he must sell his LA mansion to pay legal bills.

“Defending him against these serious charges is a huge undertaking, and it’s gotten very expensive,” the insider claimed. “He will hate to part with it, but he has no other choice.”

He has spoken to his kids while in jail

Sean “Diddy” Combs was twice denied bail. He now resides in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. The jail has a formidable reputation, but the hip-hop mogul has “been able to speak briefly to family members and his children via phone.”

“He is very concerned about his kids and their well-being,” a source told People. “He has three minor children, two of whom now have no living parent available with him incarcerated. Four of his seven children have neither parent available with him incarcerated.”

Another source said the kids are “in a state of crisis and shock” over the arrest.
