Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Admitted 1 Recording Session Ran 3 Days Because It Turned Into a ‘Real Wild’ Party
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ notorious parties have recently come under scrutiny following an influx of allegations of abuse against him. Diddy invited major celebrities to these events and said he often put a lot of thought into their planning. Sometimes, though, he hosted events without any prior planning. He spoke about a studio session that devolved into such a wild party that it lasted three full days.

When asked about “the most insane” thing that has ever happened while he was in the recording studio, Diddy dodged the question.
“I don’t think I can really discuss the things that have happened in some of the sessions,” he told Rolling Stone in 2003. “I wouldn’t want to put anybody in that position.”
Still, he admitted that he had once been in the studio with many other people. The recording session turned into a party and, according to Diddy, three days passed before everyone left.
“But a couple of years ago, we were in the studio creating, a bunch of people came by, and it turned into a big party,” he said. “I was having so much fun, I didn’t realize three days went by.”
He hinted at what kept them in the studio for that long.
“Pure energy. It got real wild,” he said. “Lots of hit records, lots of sexiness.”

In 2002, Diddy spoke about the steps he took ahead of hosting one of his events.
“This is what you need to do,” Diddy began, per Vibe Magazine. “Women. Beautiful women, of course. Beautiful men for the ladies, of course … You need to give the ladies what they need, too. Take care of your women. You can’t force the situation.”
He added that he wanted it to be hot inside, a climate he fostered by turning off the air conditioner and locking the doors.
“We need alcohols,” he said. “You need some water. I don’t know if guys have noticed this, but a lot of ladies drink water at parties. So if you don’t have what they need, they gon’ leave. Gotta keep ’em there. You need locks on the doors… It’s a little kinky but, you know… rock with me. You need a lot of heat. Don’t have no air conditioning. Heat affects the alcohol and it also affects… you know, everybody gets a little bit more comfortable and loose. It builds up a nice little sweat.”
His parties reportedly took a turn in the early hours of the morning
While many celebrities were present at Diddy’s parties, several have spoken out with claims that they never witnessed any misconduct. A source who attended these events said that many celebrities knew to clear out around 3 in the morning, when “girls would start to lose their clothes” (per Us Weekly).
The parties would reportedly continue for several hours after people began to clear out.
“What happened before 2 a.m. pales in comparison to what happened at 5 a.m.,” the source said.
