The public has been learning way more than we ever thought we would about the private parties hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs as much of what was going on behind his mansion walls was illegal.

The hip-hop star’s infamous parties, referred to as “freak offs,” were attended by several A-list celebrities and Diddy admitted that he even invited some of the most famous royals in the world to them.

After Diddy was arrested on Sept. 16 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution, a clip resurfaced of the Bad Boy Records founder talking about why he invited Prince William and Prince Harry to the parties where victims alleged they were drugged and forced to have sex.

Here’s the ridiculous excuse Diddy gave for why he wanted William and Harry at his bashes.

Diddy’s strange reason for inviting Prince William and Prince Harry to his parties

The hip-hop star met the princes when he performed during the “Concert For Diana” at Wembley Stadium in 2007. In his 2023 memoir, Spare, Harry wrote about personally selecting Diddy to perform for the event.

Four years after they met each other, Diddy spoke about William and Harry during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show.

The “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker told Norton that he did invite the brothers to one of his parties.

“I read that you want to get Prince William and Prince Harry to the Diddy party?” Norton asked.

Diddy’s appearance on the program took place shortly before William married the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton), therefore Diddy replied, “Not anymore.”

“Don’t ruin our royal wedding for us,” Norton joked, before Diddy reassured him, “Trust me, they’re off the list.”

The “Coming Home” artist then added: “But before, when [William and Harry] were young bucks they were getting [into] trouble themselves. So I was like, ‘Hey, why don’t you come out and hang with me’.”

It’s not believed that either royal sibling ever attended any of Diddy’s parties.

Diddy’s Bad Behavior Was on Display During His Reality Series ‘Making the Band’

Prince Harry was named in a $30 million lawsuit against the music mogul filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in February for sexual misconduct, grooming, and sex trafficking. The documents claimed that Combs’ affiliation with royal family members like Prince Harry gave him more “legitimacy.”

However, the documents do not accuse the Duke of Sussex of criminal behavior or any wrongdoing.

Diddy is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has told reporters that his client did not do what’s alleged and is looking forward to his day in court, saying: “He’s been looking forward to clearing his name, and he’s going to clear his name.”
