Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Once Shared a Prayer to His Fans Ahead of New Year
Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will spend another holiday behind bars as 2025 approaches. He was charged with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution and now resides in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for New Year’s Eve. However, Combs shared well wishes and prayers online with his fans in past years. Here’s the prayer he posted before New Year’s Day in 2021.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs once posted a video of him sharing a New Year’s prayer with his fans
Sean “Diddy” Combs isn’t releasing any New Year’s prayers as 2024 ends. However, in 2020, he posted footage to social media showing him sending a prayer for the end of the year.
“Happy Sunday, everybody,” Combs says in a clip posted in a video from All Urban Central of his 2020 New Year’s Eve bash. Combs recorded the clip as a selfie as he says his prayer outdoors. ” … God, please everybody in the sound of my voice. Please bless their health; please bless their hearts, but most importantly, bless their minds. The mind is a dangerous thing. God, protect us from our mind talking us out of our powers of manifesting anything we want if we believe in you even if it’s not there, even if it looks like it’s not going to come.”
Combs went on to ask God to “bless everyone that has had a rough year.”
“We want to give you thanks for 2020,” the mogul continued. “2020 has been an incredible year. 2020 has been a great year. Please bless us that in 2021, we’re not the same that we were in 2020, that we have excelled, that we have gone to a higher frequency, a higher level of consciousness, a higher level of kindness ….”
Combs noted that he wanted Black people to “start fighting back” against oppression.
Combs spent his 2020 New Year’s Eve with Chris Brown and other celebrities in Miami to celebrate. His kids also partied with him. Several clips in the YouTube video show Combs’ sons, Christian “King,” Justin, and Quincy Brown, speaking to the camera while attending parties.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ 2024 Christmas ‘was a nightmare,’ a source alleged
An insider close to Sean “Diddy” Combs told DailyMail.com the mogul had a “meltdown” during the 2024 holiday season.
“With his high-powered legal team, Diddy thought he’d be out on bail by now,” the insider alleged. “Spending the holidays behind bars was a nightmare for him. He eventually managed to calm himself down with the meditation technique he’s been using while he’s been behind bars. It took him a few hours of deep breathing and focusing to get out of the bad space he was in, but he finally managed it.”
However, another source told DailyMail.com that this isn’t the case. According to the second source, Combs is staying strong.
The mogul once shared his New Year’s resolution
Sean “Diddy” Combs shared his “simple” New Year’s resolution with USA Today at the end of 2015.
“I would say that my number one focus is mind, spirit, and body — making sure that I’m just as passionate about my mind, spirit, and my body as I am about one of my records or one of my companies,” he said. “For me, that’s really about my diet and making sure that I spend time to check in with myself so I’m connected to the vibrations that I’m putting out there. It’s that simple.”
It’s unclear what Combs’ New Year’s resolution looks like at the end of 2024.
