Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Was ‘Threatening to Kill’ His Employees Before His Arrest, Prosecutors Allege
Earlier this year, hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested on allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy has been closely examined by the public since last year when his ex, Cassie Ventura, sued him for abuse during their relationship. Then, in spring 2024, footage leaked of Diddy physically attacking Cassie in a hotel hallway.
Now, as Diddy sits in jail, more and more is coming out about his alleged actions before his arrest. And there have even been reports that Diddy would threaten “to kill” his employees.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly threatened to ‘kill’ employees who disobeyed him
So much has come out about Diddy’s lifestyle ever since his arrest. Many celebrities who previously attended Diddy’s parties in the early 2000s are now working hard to disassociate themselves from his existence. In November 2024, hip-hop star Ray J said in an interview that certain unnamed celebrities were even trying to pay off victims to avoid getting their names out there.
Now, though, more is also coming out about Diddy’s treatment of his employees. Diddy currently sits in jail as his team argues for his supervised release, but the prosecutors recently brought more allegations to light. Rolling Stone reports that court documents show the prosecutors have alleged that Diddy’s former employees “have described the defendant threatening to kill them, throwing objects at them, and being struck, punched, and shoved by the defendant, and seeing him do the same to others.”
The new allegations come as Diddy’s team fights for him to be able to reside in a New York City apartment while he awaits trial rather than in a jail cell. It’s unclear yet whether Diddy will be released.
Most celebrities have avoided talking about Diddy
Celebrities have run the other way as far as being associated with the mogul. There are very few people who have been willing to speak on Diddy’s situation, although Suge Knight is one of the only people who hasn’t held back.
Knight, who is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter, spoke from his jail cell on the Diddy situation on a few occasions. “I’ll tell you what, Puffy, your life is in danger because you know the secrets of who’s involved in that little secret room you guys are participating in,” Knight said, according to The Source.
For now, Diddy remains in jail. His trial is set to begin in May 2025, and while prosecutors are fighting for him to remain in jail until that date, his team is working hard to get him out.
