Sister Wives fans have raised concerns about Christine Brown and her new relationship since TLC opted to share her journey toward marriage during season 19 of the famed series. While much of the criticism has focused on Christine’s post-divorce behavior, concerns have been raised about how her children have viewed and adjusted to the whirlwind romance with David Woolley. As things heat up between the pair on-screen, there have been several moments that indicate Christine’s youngest child, Truely Brown, may not have been all that comfortable with what was going on between her mother and now-stepfather.

Several of Christine Brown’s kids have expressed concerns about her romance

Long before season 19 of Sister Wives premiered, there were murmurings that some Brown family members weren’t thrilled with how quickly Christine Brown moved forward with David Woolley. Paedon Brown, Christine’s only son, took to TikTok in the early months of Christine’s romance to question the speed at which his mother was moving with her new beau. He’s been quiet since the wedding, though.

Gwendlyn Brown has not spoken directly about David Woolley, but she was a no-show at the couple’s wedding. Meanwhile, Ysabel Brown also expressed concerns in front of TLC’s cameras. She pulled her mother aside to question the relationship, although Christine was not receptive. While Ysabel, Paedon, and Gwendlyn have all seemingly made their feelings known, Truly Brown may be the most bothered.

Truely Brown seems to be the least outspoken but the most bothered

Truely Brown is Christine Brown’s youngest child. As the only minor child left at home, Christine’s dating decisions have affected her more than her much older siblings. Season 19 of Sister Wives suggests that the teenager wasn’t thrilled with her mother’s full-steam-ahead approach to her budding romance, at least initially.

In a recent episode of Sister Wives, Truely joined her mother and now-stepfather on an outing. David, mostly ignoring the fact that Truely was in the back seat, wrapped his arm around his partner. Truely took the opportunity to bite him. The bite, an odd move for a then-preteen child, might indicate discomfort with the physical closeness between David and Christine.

It wasn’t the only time fans suspect Truely was expressing her discomfort. She seemed to express her feelings in other moments, too. Fans of the famed series note that the youngest of Christine’s children actively tried to put physical space between her mother and eventual stepfather several times in recent episodes. She looked visibly bothered by the duo’s public displays of affection, as well. In social media photos from early on in the romance, she seemed to be protecting her space, too.
