Hulu’s newest reality TV show has taken the streaming world by storm. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives follows the Mormon women of “Momtok,” a TikTok concept that empowers Mormon women to be more confident and less worried about their husbands and image. However, it has also led to plenty of drama — hence the start of the reality show.

One of the cast members, Whitney, hasn’t exactly been on great terms with the rest of the women. Her husband Connor confessed something horrible prior to filming, but when fans think of him, their attention actually goes to something else they find “odd” about him — and it’s not his scandal.

Fans can’t help but notice Connor’s hair on ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’

Early in season 1, Whitney made a difficult confession to her friends: Her husband, Connor, had been sending explicit photos of himself to other women throughout their marriage. The two worked through their issues, having moved to Hawaii for a bit to escape everything that was happening back in Utah. Today, they seem to have moved on from it.

But now, it’s not the Tinder scandal that has fans of the show talking; it’s Connor’s ever-changing hairstyles. It seems that in every episode, his hair is a different length, color, or style, and fans can’t help but notice.

“Why does his hairstyle change in almost every scene he is in? It just seems odd to me,” one user posted to Reddit. The responses were mixed, with some not as nice as others, but a few people did have genuine suggestions.

“I think they both played around a lot [with their hair] and the first couple of episodes take place over a long time after they moved,” someone suggested, noting that Whitney’s hair had also changed a couple of times throughout the season.

Another user suggested it’s been an effort to “distance himself” from the photo-sharing scandal, but someone else added that his “hairline” also seems to change with no real explanation.

The honest truth is that nobody knows; the man likes to change up his hair frequently, it seems.

‘Secret Lives’ was reportedly renewed for a second season

As if the drama in season 1 wasn’t enough, the Momtok crew is gearing up for even more drama to spill during the show’s second season. Of course, it’s unclear when season 2 could premiere, but we do know that Whitney will seemingly be in the season 2 cast, given that she has posted about the show’s renewal.

There is never any shortage of drama in reality television, and with these Mormon wives, it seems the drama follows them wherever they go.
