‘Seeking Sister Wife’: Marcus Epps Reveals He Actually Has 10 Children
Seeking Sister Wife Season 4 star, Marcus Epps of the Epps family reveals that he actually has fathered ten children. For some reason, the TLC show didn’t reveal how many children he has, so this came as a shock to fans.
Who is the Epps family?
The Epps family is of the new families that joined Seeking Sister Wife Season 4. Marcus has been married to his wife, college sweetheart, Taryn Epps for the last 10 years. After Taryn found o’t about Marcus’ inf’delity, Taryn separated from him and moved out with their daughter. During the sep’ration is when Wife’s met his current fiancé, India. After a year long separation, Taryn and Marcus agreed to work on their marriage. She moved back in with Marcus and India, with the intention of India moving out. However, Marcus wasn’t willing to let either of his women go. So that’s when Marcus brought up the idea of them becoming a polygamist family. After some time getting to know each other, the women agreed to it.
Marcus Epps claims he actually has 10 children
On the June 13 episode of Seeking Sister Wife, audiences were finally introduced to Marcus, Taryn, and India. The Epps family decided to go live on Instagram for the episode. One fan asked the family if they thought that their family was being portrayed in an accurate light.
Marcus replied, “Are they trying to paint a different picture? I don’t know. So far, everything’s looked pretty accurate.” However, he revealed some new information the Seeking Sister Wife producers chose to omit. He revealed that he actually is the father of ten children.
Marcus explained, “My children are all over the world.” He joked, “Most men out here in this lifestyle, they’re pimpin’ all over the world. Not me. I’m chasing children all over the world! You hear me?”
The Epps family patriarch said, “But for real, shout out to all my babies that are in here [watching the live stream]. There may be some of them in here. Y’all know I love y’all. We love y’all.”
Why did TLC not mention his 10 children on ‘Seeking Sister Wife’
Many Seeking Sister Wife fans wondered why the other polygamist fathers were forthcoming about how many children they have, except for Marcus.
During the Instagram live, one fan asked the family why TLC didn’t mention the existence of his ten children. Taryn said, “They felt like it was too much to explain.”
On episode 2 of Seeking Sister Wife Season 4, audiences were introduced to two of Marcus’ children, 9-year-old daughter Kielyn and 15-year-old son Tristen.
Marcus explained, “Taryn and I have one child together, the two of us, our daughter Kielyn.” He said, “And then my son, Tristen, lives with us. And then JB, is Tristen’s best friend, and he lives with us as well.” However, there’s no mention as to who is the mother of his son, Tristen.
Perhaps more information regarding Marcus’ remaining eight children will be revealed on season 4. Fans will have to tune in to find out more about this unique family.
