Selena Gomez Literally Peed Her Pants Once & Ed Sheeran Was Involved
She might be a huge star and one of the most famous celebrities on earth, but Selena Gomez continuously proves that in many ways, she’s just like us. The 27-year-old, who has a whopping 163 million followers on Instagram alone, has been a huge star since her early teens. Gomez got her start on Barney & Friends when she was just eight years old, but rose to worldwide success when she starred in the Emmy Award-winning Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place. But, despite all of her success, a story Gomez recently shared about an Ed Sheeran concert has fans thinking she’s more relatable than ever.
There’s a lot of factors that contribute to the world’s obsession with Gomez. Her beauty is a large part of the equation as are her talents as an actress and a singer. But, another huge part of why fans find the “Lose You To Love Me” singer so compelling is because of how honest and authentic she is. In a recent interview with the popular UK talk show, KISS FM, Gomez showed off just how relatable she was with a hilarious and fairly embarrassing story.
Not a bad liar after all
While she was a guest on the talk show, Gomez was asked to participate in a game called Liar, Liar. A twist on the classic game two truths and a lie, the Rare artist was asked to share two stories based on lies and one story based on true events. Once all three stories were shared, the two co-hosts made guesses about which story they felt was the truth. Gomez’s first story involved peeing on herself on the way to an Ed Sheeran concert, her second was about her godson ripping at a three-tier cake mid-wedding, and the last story involved learning to properly use weaponry. Though the co-hosts were convinced the wedding story was true, Gomez revealed the truth was the Ed Sheeran story.

“Me and my friends, we love going to concerts back home. Ed Sheeran was playing at the Hollywood Bowl and there was so much traffic and I was very uncomfortable, let’s say, ‘down there’. So I will say that it was the first time that I had maybe soiled my pants a bit,” Gomez relayed in the telling of the story. But, rather than call it a night, Gomez decided to improvise. “I was not excited, but I didn’t want to leave. I kind of just went, ‘All right, I’ll put a little sweater on the bottom of me to kinda just…’ and I made it through the concert,” the 27-year-old confessed.
2019 Gomez is more relatable than ever
Later, when the “Look At Her Now” songstress revealed the truth, she also shared that she’d never told this story before. “Just so you know, I’ve never told anyone that,” Gomez stated. She also joked that Ed Sheeran would likely give a “That’s fine. Good for her, she deserves it,” response if and when he found out. “I can’t wait to see the headlines on this one,” Gomez concluded. We love that the actress is so open about the less than glamorous parts of her life. We’re sure that more people can relate to her stories than she thinks.
