‘Selling Sunset’: Chrishell Stause Addresses a Rumor Christine Quinn Started About Her Relationship With Jason Oppenheim
Some Selling Sunset stars had something to say when it was revealed Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim are dating. Christine Quinn started a rumor about how they fell in love, and Chrishell Stause responded.
Christine Quinn said Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim fell in love at first sight
Stause and Oppenheim revealed they’re dating in the summer of 2021. He’s an owner of The Oppenheim Group, where she’s a realtor. While it shocked some of their costars and Selling Sunset fans, Quinn claimed she saw a connection between them before this.
“The second she walked into the office, it was definitely love at first sight between them. I think there was sparks flying,” Quinn told TMZ in August. “There were sparks flying, I mean, we all saw it. The way that he looked at her when she walked into the office we were like ‘OK!’”
Quinn revealed if there is any favoritism with Stause. “I personally think there is a lot of favoritism involved,” she answered. “I haven’t seen it personally with Chrishell. But I have seen it with Mary [Fitzgerald].”
The problem with Quinn’s claim is that Stause was married to Justin Hartley when she was hired. Stause recently responded to Quinn’s comments about her new relationship.

Many fans wonder how Stause and Oppenheim’s relationship started. Stause addressed the rumor Quinn started about them.
“I’d rather just be honest and tell you: She tried to plant a false story when I was going through my divorce and I had to have both sides confirm that it wasn’t true and then threaten legal action,” she told Vulture. “And this was right after my mom died.”
The reality star said the false story was kicking her while she was down. She later claimed that Quinn did this again.
“She did it again recently, trying to say that me and Jason were happening before, and it’s just not true,” the reality star later said. “You can understand how that really could take someone down and ruin them when everyone on the internet is trying to figure out what happened. She takes it as an opportunity to fill in some blanks that were blatantly untrue. It was many steps too far for me.”
Will Chrishell confront Christine in ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 5?
Selling Sunset season 4 showed most of the women at The Oppenheim Group not getting along with Quinn. She didn’t spend as much time with them because she was expecting her first child with husband, Christian Richard.
Season 5 will show Stause and Oppenheim’s relationship. Fans will have to wait and see if Stause will confront Quinn about the rumor next season.
