Selling Sunset will return to Netflix with season 5 next month. The Oppenheim Group’s female realtors are back with all-new episodes. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming season, including how many episodes Selling Sunset Season 5 will have, how long each episode will be, which cast members will return, and details about a new realtor joining the series.

‘Selling Sunset’ Season 5 drops on Apr. 22, 2022

Per Netflix, Selling Sunset will release new episodes on Apr. 22. As with previous seasons, the season will feature 10 episodes. Each episode will be 35-minutes long and available to binge all at once. 

According to the media alert, Jason and Brett Oppenheim will return in Selling Sunset Season 5. Joining them are Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald (and Romain Bonnet), Heather Rae El Moussa, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, Vanessa Villela, and Emma Hernan. 

Another new realtor joins the Oppenheim Group in season 5

Season 4 of Selling Sunset introduced fans to two new realtors: Vanessa and Emma. As Mary revealed to Showbiz Cheat Sheet over a Zoom call, Emma worked with the O Group in the past.

“[Emily and I] have been friends for probably four or five years,” Mary told us in November 2021. “She worked at The Oppenheim Group before she came on the show.” Meanwhile, Vanessa previously had a career as an actor starring in Mexican TV series like Romántica obsesiónEllas, and Un nuevo amor. 

Season 5 brings another new realtor to the Oppenheim Group’s Los Angeles office — Chelsea Lazkani. “The secret is OUT!” she wrote on Instagram

“I’m beyond thrilled to announce that I have joined the cast of @netflix Selling Sunset! So grateful for everyone involved, the list is long and you know who you are. The laughs, the lux, the drama, it’s all there in season 5 and I can’t wait for you all to see it!”

Many of Chelsea’s colleagues commented on the post welcoming her to the Netflix series. “Here we go!!!!” Heather commented, adding: “Yay. So much love.” Mary and Selling Tampa star Juawana Colbert also commented to congratulate Chelsea. 

‘Selling Sunset’ Season 4 left off in a tense spot 

Christine found herself in the middle of the drama in Selling Sunset Season 4. Throughout the season, the women of the Oppenheim Group became focused on the she-said-she-said between Christine and Emma regarding an allegedly mutual ex-boyfriend, Peter Cornell (who Emma is rumored to be dating again). In episode 6, Christine reveals she was dating the “love of her life” for two and a half years when he allegedly cheated on her with Emma.

Meanwhile, Emma had a different version of the story — one the women of the Oppenheim Group stood behind. Selling Sunset Season 4 ended with Christine feeling like she was on the outs at an event Brett and Jason hosted where they announced the opening of the Oppenheim Group’s Newport Beach office (which subsequently resulted in another spinoff series, Selling The OC

Selling Sunset Season 5 will likely pick up shortly after this event. Fans will have to tune in to find out if Christine’s still feeling like an outsider or not.
