‘Selling Sunset’ Star Heather Rae Young Opens Up About Fertility and Her ‘Journey to a Little El Moussa’ With Tarek
Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young recently opened up about fertility and freezing her eggs to have a baby with her husband, HGTV star Tarek El Moussa. Here’s what Young said about her “journey to a little El Moussa” with the Flip or Flop star.

Heather Rae Young has been open with fans about her marriage to Tarek El Moussa and their family planning. On Mar. 24, the Selling Sunset star shared an Instagram post about fertility.
“I promised I would keep you guys updated with our journey to a little El Moussa 🥰👶🏻 but first I just want to say I’m so grateful to be able to share this part of my life with you guys,” Young captioned two photos of herself with El Moussa. “It’s a little scary and a whole new world for me but I’m really happy to be able to share this journey with you guys and show you what we’re doing to grow this little family of ours 🤍 I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!”
She encouraged her followers to “ask me anything fertility or family edition!” Young asked, “What questions do you guys have about the process so far and is there anything specific that you want me to talk about? lmk 🥰” Young was referring to the process of freezing her eggs.
Heather Rae Young previously shared that she froze her eggs after marrying Tarek El Moussa
Heather Rae Young got candid about freezing her eggs with Life & Style in September 2021. “I froze my eggs once,” the Selling Sunset star shared. “I actually have low fertility. So, I did that because there’s a chance that I might not be able to have babies. I did that just for my future.”
She went on to say that she doesn’t regret not having kids, but she wants to keep her options open in the future. “I don’t have to feel like I regretted not having kids,” Young explained. “I just wanted to have the option. I’m probably going to do one more round just to be safe because I don’t have a lot of eggs, so I’m going to preserve what I have.”
Young also revealed that she had changed her mind about what she wanted in life. “When you find your soulmate, I think your mind changes, and how you think your future is going to end up changes,” she said. “Like, I never thought I would be a step-parent. I never thought I would marry a man that had kids and an ex. I never thought I would be in this position. So, from the moment I met him, I 100 percent committed. I never thought twice about it and our life is crazy and I’m like, ‘Well, what’s one more?’”

The day before sharing her Instagram post about fertility, Heather Rae Young said she “can’t wait” to have a baby with her husband, Tarek El Moussa.
She posted a photo to her Instagram Stories of her holding what seemed to be a friend’s baby. The Selling Sunset star wrote over the sweet picture in pink letters, “Okay so I’m Absolutely [sic] obsessed with baby Charlotte.” See tagged the infant’s parents before continuing, “And it makes me even more ready for my own.” Young tagged her husband at the end of the post.
In her next Instagram Story, the reality star shared a picture of El Moussa feeding the baby a bottle. Young captioned it, “A complete natural,” tagging El Moussa and adding heart emojis. “I can’t wait to have a baby with you!”
