‘Selling Sunset’ Star Heather Rae Young Once Said Christina Haack is a ‘Great Mom’ and They ‘Text Every Day’

Heather Rae Young has said that she enjoys being a “bonus mommy” to Tarek El Moussa’s two children, whom he shared with his ex-wife, Christina Haack. The Selling Sunset star once shared that she respects how the Flip or Flop stars prioritize their kids.
“Tarek and Christina have a really good relationship for the kids, and what I respect so much about both of them is, no matter what they’ve gone through – which, you know, everyone saw, there’s a lot of things out there – but no matter what they’ve gone through, they always put the kids number one,” Young told US Weekly in March 2021.
Young revealed that she and Haack text or see each other every day. “We communicate every day about the kids, either through text or in person, and I think just helping each other out when we need it,” she explained when asked about the key to co-parenting. “If she needs a little bit more help, or I need a little bit more help, we help each other. If we need to borrow something, we let each other borrow things.”
She concluded by saying she thought the Christina on the Coast star was a “great mom.” “Her and I, we get along great,” Young said. “I think she’s a great mom, and I think she sees how much I love the kids, and I would do anything for them.”

The Selling Sunset star texts or sees Christina Haack every day, but Tarek El Moussa doesn’t. In April, Heather Rae Young told In Touch that she handles most of the communication with Haack regarding the two kids.
The Netflix star said that she and El Moussa don’t do group activities with Haack and the children. “We keep it separate, and we really focus on our house and raising the kids how we want to at our house and healthy habits here,” Young shared. “And so, we just really focus on our household.”
“But obviously, we communicate for the children. Her and I mainly do,” Young explained, adding that the two families share an equal amount of time with the kids. “And you know, obviously, we’re raising kids, and they’re half the time over there, half the time with us. So, we do communicate for the children.”
The ‘Selling Sunset’ star got in a fight with Tarek El Moussa’s ex-wife at a children’s soccer game
While Heather Rae Young and Christina Haack had a seemingly friendly co-parenting relationship in the past, there was a recent argument involving the two stars and their husbands, Tarek El Moussa and Joshua Hall.
On May 9, Daily Mail published pictures of a fight between the two couples at a children’s soccer game. The photos were taken on May 7, the day after the Selling Sunset season 5 reunion aired. El Moussa pulled Young away from Haack by the arm. Later, Hall and El Moussa got in each other’s faces and had to be separated by the soccer coach.
On Mother’s Day, May 8, El Moussa and Haack’s 6-year-old son Brayden had emergency surgery, bringing the blended family together. The health scare happened the day after the soccer game argument.
A representative for Haack addressed the soccer game incident by telling US Weekly on May 10, “A personal matter was discussed and has since been resolved. We are focused on co-parenting as a team moving forward.”
On May 12, Young, El Moussa, and Haack each posted photos on social media of the two couples with 11-year-old Taylor, and said they were dedicated to co-parenting.
“Sometimes to shut down the noise we show the truth,” Young captioned her Instagram post. “Co- parenting and doing what’s right ❤️ it’s been a rough week for all of us. Tay’s open house tonight, she’s just the cutest 🥰”
