‘Selling Sunset’ Star Heather Rae Young Says Her Body Is ‘Not Ready’ For a Baby With Tarek El Moussa

Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa have spoken eagerly about having a baby together. The HGTV star already has two children, whom he shares with his ex-wife and former co-star, Christina Haack. On Mar. 23, Young told her fans that she “can’t wait” to have a baby with her husband.
The Selling Sunset star shared a photo on her Instagram Stories showing her holding what appeared to be a friend’s infant. In the caption, she wrote that the baby “makes me even more ready for my own.”
In her next Instagram Story, Young shared a photo of El Moussa feeding the infant a bottle. She wrote in the caption, “I can’t wait to have a baby with you!”
Heather Rae Young said her body is ‘not ready’ to have a baby with Tarek El Moussa
Although she shared her excitement to have a baby with Tarek El Moussa just a month ago, Heather Rae Young recently said that she’s “not ready” for pregnancy right now.
On Apr. 22, the Selling Sunset star told Page Six that she’s too busy and her body doesn’t feel ready to have a baby.
“I have a lot of things coming up and a lot to prepare for,” the 34-year-old said. “Already having two kids and balancing work and life and family – just everything. I just felt like my body’s not ready.” The two kids Young is referring to are her stepchildren, 11-year-old Taylor and 6-year-old Brayden. El Moussa and Haack share custody, so they spend time living with each parent.
Young continued to say that she wanted to go into pregnancy feeling “very excited, not stressed, not feeling overwhelmed,” and she said that she is “just not at that place right now.”

Heather Rae Young previously said that she didn’t feel the need to have children and add to her family with Tarek El Moussa.
But in February 2022, the Selling Sunset star told Today that being with the Flip or Flop star and his two kids changed her mind about having a baby of her own.
“When Tarek and I started dating, I told him, ‘As much as I love Taylor and Brayden, I’m not going to have children of my own,’” Young said. “But seeing Tarek as a dad completely changed my mind about everything. He’s obsessed with them.”
She said that at first, her husband was not receptive to the idea of having more kids. “Tarek and I communicate very well with each other, so I didn’t hold back about how I was feeling,” Young explained. “At first he was like, ‘Oh, I’m not sure… I already have two beautiful children.’ But the more we discussed it, the more excited we both became. Now, he’ll just look at me and go, ‘I can’t wait to have a baby with you!’”
