The ‘Shane Dawson x Jeffree Star’ Collection Goes Full Green with a New Eyeshadow, Gloss, and Mirror
Jeffree Star fans spoke and he listened. There are a few new products coming to the Conspiracy Collection, predominately inspired by the green shade named “Put It Back.” Here’s what we learned about new products in the Shane Dawson x Jeffree Star collection, thanks to Jeffree Star’s latest YouTube video.
There are new products coming to Shane Dawson’s ‘Conspiracy’ collection
After months of anticipation. Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson returned with an update on their best-selling makeup collection, The Conspiracy Collection. Thankfully, there are a few new products to be available for purchase, most of which are inspired by 4/20 and the metallic green shade.
As a spinoff to the Shane-Glossin-persona-inducing lip gloss, Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson created a green gloss (which is clear on application) called “Slime Glossin’.”
There’s an update to the mini-controversy palette which will include the highly requested green shade, called “Put It Back.” There is also an option to buy “Put It Back” as a single shade, as Jeffree Star showcased in his latest YouTube video.
In terms of Shane Dawson’s merch, there’s a new green glitter pig mirror available for purchase on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website, along with the iconic Jeffree Star mirrors in green hues.
When do Jeffree Star’s new makeup products premiere?
This collection (and the original restock) was slated for a March 2020 premiere. However, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Jeffree Star cosmetics has temporarily paused shipments, in addition to exchanges, cancellations, and returns.
“Per California’s ‘Safer at Home’ Order, any website orders placed after 3/19/2020 will be shipped once government mandates allow Jeffree Star Cosmetics to reopen,” the company’s website reads.
The products in this new collection, however, are still available for purchase. Some fans shared their excitement online, with Jeffree Star’s YouTube video earning over 7 million views in a matter of hours. Mirrors, the hat, and a hoodie in the collection sold out within a day.
‘Shane Glossin’ and Jeffree Star first revealed an updated mini-controversy palette in 2019
The Conspiracy Collection originally premiered during November 2019, after Shane Dawson published a series of videos regarding the process of creating a makeup palette. The collection was so popular that it crashed the website and sold out in stores in a matter of hours.
As a result, Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star promised a restock, even teasing new products and updates to already-released items. The merch products of Jeffree Star’s new 420-themed collection are available online, but Jeffree Star announced that it may be a few more weeks before the makeup products debut.
Although it was set to premiere during April, Jeffree Star said he hopes to release it sometime during May. According to Popbuzz, “The California stay-at-home order is in place until May 13 (it could be extended, depending on the situation).”
