Shawn Mendes just dropped the music video for his latest single, “It’ll Be Okay,” the breakup anthem he released shortly after announcing his split from Camila Cabello. The former member of Fifth Harmony has been getting over the breakup in her own way – including posting some spicy bikini photos. Here are all the details we know so far.

On Dec. 1, two weeks after he announced his split from Camila Cabello, Mendes released the new single, “It’ll Be Okay.”
The breakup anthem includes the lyrics, “I start to imagine a world where we don’t collide/it’s making me sick but we’ll heal and the sun will rise.”
Mendes’ new song also drops some clues about his split from Cabello. Lyrics like, “If you tell me you’re leaving/ I’ll make it easy,” make it seem as though it was Cabello’s idea to separate.
He says that he still loves Cabello despite the breakup, as he sings in the chorus, “I will love you either way.”
The somber music video shows a sad-looking Mendes walking alone through a city as snow falls around him.
Camila Cabello has been posting spicy bikini selfies
Shawn Mendes’ ex, Camila Cabello, is working through their recent split in her own way.
On Jan. 10, just a few days before Mendes released his music video, Cabello posted a bikini picture on Instagram. The first slide shows the singer wearing a black bikini on a boat, while the second focuses on her face as she puckers her lips to the camera with a sunset in the background.
She captioned the images, “I posted no pics because i was hashtag living life but I was in the REPÚBLICA DOMINICANA BABYYYYYY VAMO A UN TETEOOOOOO.”
But Cabello’s more recent posts show she may be sharing Mendes’ wintry mood. Since posting her Dominican Republic photos, she has also shared images of herself surrounded by snowy trees. The posts are tagged at The Resort at Paws Up in Montana.

Cabello and Mendes released a joint statement via their Instagram Stories on Nov. 17, 2021, announcing their breakup. They dated for two years and collaborated on the smash hits “Señorita” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever ❤️,” they wrote in their separate Instagram Stories. “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward ❤️❤️❤️ Camila and Shawn.”
Mendes and Cabello appear to remain on friendly terms, and they both still have several photos of each other on their Instagram pages.
The former couple was also recently seen walking their shared dog, Tarzan, together in Miami.
