‘Siesta Key’: Amanda Miller Just Called Ex JJ Mizell a ‘Cheating Narcissist’ on Twitter
Fans are obsessed with the romantic entanglements present on MTV’s Siesta Key. While much of the relationship drama centers around Juliette Porter and Alex Kompothecras, Amanda Miller is taking the spotlight now. She got back together with her ex, JJ Mizell, during season 3 of the show — but their constant fighting caused them to break it off.
Now, Miller is still calling Mizell a “cheating narcissist” on Twitter. Here’s what’s going on.
Amanda Miller and JJ Mizell have quite a history on ‘Siesta Key’
Miller spent much of season 3 single and ready to mingle with Brandon Gomes. But once Mizell reentered the picture, everything changed. Mizell is friends with Kompono and reconnected with Miller instantly. While Miller was reluctant to let him back into her life, they ultimately reconciled and started dating.
So, when did Miller and Mizell initially get together? According to Heavy, the two started dating back in 2014 and then initially broke up in 2016. Miller stated a number of times that Mizell cheated on her during their relationship.
Porter also gave more insight into the couple’s relationship in season 3. She explained that Miller and Mizell would fight, and then Mizell would leave Miller and cheat. Ultimately, Miller and Mizell’s trust issues couldn’t be managed, and it led to jealousy and uncertainty on both sides.

Given Miller’s past with Mizell, it’s easy to understand why she’d be suspicious of what he’s up to while she’s not around. And in season 3, it all came to a head for the couple. Mizell was out partying one night and didn’t call Miller until the afternoon the next day, which was allegedly very unlike him. Mizell told Miller he never cheated on her after they rekindled their romance. But Miller’s still posting about his past cheating ways to Twitter.
“‘I didn’t do a d*mn thing wrong THAT night’ and that’s on dating a cheating narcissist! #SiestaKey,” Miller tweeted on July 21, 2020.
Fans hope this means Miller and Mizell are finished with their romance for good.
“Just go out there and have fun, your young, beautiful and full of life, enjoy it,” a fan commented on the tweet.
Fans wonder how Miller feels about Mizell dating Cara Geswelli
It sounds like Miller might be single — but Mizell isn’t. Reddit users saw that Mizell is now dating Cara Geswelli, another young woman on Siesta Key who left the show to pursue her dream of living in New York.
It seems Mizell and Geswelli were posting photos of each other to their Instagram Stories. And everyone’s wondering how Miller handled the news.
“Are they hooking up? You know Amanda has to be losing it over that,” one Reddit user questioned.
Others are loving that Geswelli went for Miller’s man.
“I love it so much! I hate her and love her at the same time. But we need this. We need this drama!” another wrote.
“I love when they’re not filming and there is actual drama that is not being scripted,” yet another added.
Will Miller learn about Geswelli and Mizell while on the show? We’re not sure — but it sounds like Miller and Mizell are done for good. We’ll have to wait and see how it all unfolds on Siesta Key.
