‘Sister Wives’: Christine Calls Out Kody Brown for Favoritism With Robyn and Her Kids
On the Jan 16 episode of Sister Wives, Christine Brown calls out Kody Brown for his “apparent” favoritism toward his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, and her children. Kody has spent the entire coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown at Robyn’s house, which has put a strain on his relationships with his other wives and children.
Christine Brown calls out Kody Brown for favoritism
During Kody’s discussion with him and Janelle’s son, Gabriel ‘Gabe’ Brown, he says he doesn’t feel respected by some of his wives and children.
Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Kody has spent all of his time at Robyn’s house with her children. Kody spent nearly every day for the last nine months at Robyn’s home and has failed to see his other children, which has become a point of jealousy.
Christine tells the cameras, “It’s hard for the girl to respect their dad when they see he has favorites. And they, they struggle with how apparent it is, that he’s more comfortable at some houses than others.”
Kody praises Robyn for being the ‘obedient wife’
Kody says during his discussion with Gabe, Kody says, “I think the problem here is whether I’m being respected in my home or not.” During his talk, Kody reveals that Robyn is his ‘obedient wife,’ while his other wives, Janelle and Christine, are not blindly following his rules.
He tells the cameras, “I’ll tell you something that Robyn has done from the very beginning of coming into our family. She sat her children down, and she said, ‘We’re going into this family. You will be kind to this family. You will accept this family, and you will respect the parents. And you will respect Kody as your father.”
He says, “I have other households who have never established those rules.”
Christine is no longer blindly obeying Kody
In the episode, Christine tells the cameras, “I used to be that wife.” She continues, “I used to be super, like ‘Anything you want, anything you say, whatever you want. I used to be that wife. And I’m not anymore.” She reveals, “I’m head of my house. I am. I’m the one who’s present. I’m the one who’s around.”
In the preview for the upcoming Jan 23 episode of Sister Wives, Christine reveals that Kody wants a platonic marriage. She says, “He said, ‘I am not interested in having an intimate marriage anymore.'”
Christine tells the cameras, “I am not OK with staying in a marriage where there is no intimacy.” Kody then reveals that Christine has packed up his things and has put them in boxes in the garage.
