‘Sister Wives’ Fans Spot Clues That Janelle Brown May Have Already Split From Kody Brown
Many Sister Wives fans believe that Kody Brown and his second wife, Janelle Brown, have already split. While outwardly they say that they’re still together, many clues suggest they’ve split.
Janelle Brown and Kody Brown’s marriage
Kody and Janelle have been “spiritually” married for over 28 years and have six children together. The pair have never been very romantic, but Kody values his marriage to Janelle because of her business-mindedness. The dynamic of their marriage has changed over the years, especially since Kody enforced his strict coronavirus (COVID-19) rules.
Over the course of the nine months that Kody spent living entirely at Robyn’s house, Janelle and Kody’s marriage became more strained. Their main argument on Sister Wives Season 16 centered around respect. Kody demanded that their sons, Garrison and Gabriel Brown, move out. That was the only way he felt comfortable coming home.
Janelle stood her ground and told him that she wouldn’t kick her sons out of the house. To this, Kody became angry and told the cameras that Janelle and his sons didn’t respect him. Since this began, Kody admitted to feeling betrayed by Janelle when she decided to put her sons before him. Since then, their marriage hasn’t been the same.
Did Janelle and Kody already split?
Many Sister Wives fans believe that Janelle and Kody already called it quits. In season 16 of Sister Wives, Janelle felt torn about her future with Kody and living plural marriage. She admitted that it’s a conscious choice to stay with Kody.
Throughout season 16, Janelle began standing up for herself more to Kody. At one point, she even told Kody to “f—k off” during an argument about his strict coronavirus rules.
As Christine began her separation from Kody, Janelle supported her every step of the way. After the split, Janelle was the only former sister wife to congratulate Christine on her new online show, Cooking with Just Christine. She’s also been taking many vacations with her.

She’s taking vacations with Christine to Disney (which I can only assume would make Kody very angry…he’s big on “loyalty”, as we’ve seen in this week’s episode)
Christine posted pictures on New Year’s Eve with Janelle, which means they may have spent holidays together this year.
She’s been calling out Kody’s abusive bullsh— all season so far, especially his passive-aggressive diatribe during the family meeting about Thanksgiving
Obviously this is all speculation because she hasn’t announced anything, but it seems to me like she’s been undergoing some massive changes. What do you all think?

Kody isn’t ‘in love’ with Janelle
During part two of the Sister Wives Season 16 tell-all, Kody told the host, Sukanya Krishnan, that he wasn’t in love with Janelle any longer. The host asks him, “Are you in love with Janelle?” Kody replies, “I love Janelle.”
The host reiterates, “Are you in love with Janelle?” He pauses and shakes his head no and says, “Janelle wouldn’t tell you that she’s in that place with me either if she’s being honest.”
He says, “We’re not in sync. We don’t partner really well. But we actually are just able to have a marriage, if you will, that is lower in attachment.” He continues, “We’re good friends. We get along well. It’s more of a just a committed relationship.”
