‘Sister Wives’ Gwendlyn Brown Reacts to Father Kody Being Labeled by Google As ‘Christine Brown’s Ex-Husband’
On the heels of the Sister Wives Season 16 finale, Christine Brown’s daughter, Gwendlyn ‘Gwen’ Brown, jokes about how Google has labeled her father, Kody Brown as “Christine’s ex-husband.” Gwen reacts to the search engine roasting her dad.
Google labeled Kody Brown as ‘Christine Brown’s ex-husband’
After season 16 of Sister Wives, Christine and Kody have divorced after over 28 years of marriage. Many Sister Wives fans have opinions on the split and have taken Christine’s side. It appears that even Google has taken sides.
As of right now, when searching for Kody Brown on Google. It will pop up with “Kody Brown, Christine Brown’s ex-husband.” While Kody is still married to three of his wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Robyn Brown, Google seems only to acknowledge him as Christine’s ex.

On Feb. 8, Gwen posted to her Instagram Stories about Google labeling her father (via InTouch). She posted a screenshot of the google search with the caption, “I’m deada— when I tell you this is what shows up when you google my father.”
After posting the story, she posted a follow-up story regarding how many people viewed her story about her father. On a screenshot showing that her previous post received over 15,000 views with over 99 private messages, She wrote, “I seem to have found my niche? Jokes on me that I didn’t think about it sooner.”
Christine and Kody’s divorce on ‘Sister Wives’
During Sister Wives Season 16, Kody told Christine he’s no longer interested in an intimate marriage. Soon after, Christine packed up Kody’s belongings and stored them in the garage. This was the beginning of the end for Kody and Christine’s marriage.
On Nov. 2, 2021, Christine announced her divorce to the public (via Instagram). She revealed that she moved to Murray, Utah, to be closer to family. According to The Sun, Christine lives in one side of a $1.1 million duplex with her 11-year-old daughter, Truely Brown.
While Christine is doing her best to keep the divorce amicable for their children, it appears that many of her kids are clearly taking her side.
