TLC is delivering a Valentine’s Day gift to Sister Wives fans. The new season of the show premieres Sunday, Feb. 14.

“So happy to be able to spill the proverbial beans,” Janelle wrote.

“Yay!!! I was so afraid y’all were canceled,” one fan replied on Instagram.

Based on a teaser shared with People, the new season looks to be a dramatic one. The Browns are still arguing about what to do with the Coyote Pass property, and tensions between Kody Brown’s four wives are rising. Plus, Kody’s relationship with his first wife Meri Brown seems more strained than ever. On top of everything, the family is dealing with the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, which has each of the wives isolated in their separate houses in Arizona.

‘I can’t make him love me,’ Meri Brown says of husband Kody Brown

Meri and Kody’s long-standing relationship issues are still festering, it seems. “Romance and sex are saved for people who are in love,” Kody says in the teaser, implying that he and Meri are no longer intimate. And when Meri asks Kody what he would do if she kissed him, his response is less than enthusiastic.

“I can’t make him love me,” Meri says in an interview segment.

“If Meri and I really wanted to be together, we would,” Kody says.

Meri isn’t the only wife who Kody is having problems with, though. He and Christine are also at odds. Part of the issue seems to be her desire to move back to Utah, an idea Kody rejects.

“Meri, I don’t think I can be married to Kody anymore,” a tearful Christine tells her fellow sister wife.

“You don’t get to give up like that,” Meri replies.

In addition to conflict between Kody and some of his wives, there are also simmering tensions between his four wives.

“I need my wives to stop complaining about this divide that we’ve got in the family,” Kody says, before wondering if the women even want to have relationships with each other.

“Maybe there are some of us who are like, ‘Look, I don’t want it anymore,'” Janelle tells a producer.

“We don’t have to do anything together,” Christine tells Robyn Brown, Kody’s fourth wife. Meanwhile, Robyn says one of the wives is trying to “sabotage” her relationship with her husband.

Kody makes it clear he’s had it with the drama, sharing that he “feel[s] like the only adult sometimes.”

“I don’t want to spend the rest of my life listening to women tell me how unhappy they are,” he says.
