‘Sister Wives’: Kody Tells Christine He’s Not ‘Attracted’ to Her and Isn’t Interested in an ‘Intimate Marriage’
In a preview for the upcoming January 23 episode of Sister Wives, Christine Brown reveals that her husband, Kody Brown, is not attracted to her anymore. Also, he’s no longer interested in an intimate marriage with her. Here’s what Christine had to say about her heartbreaking conversation with Kody.
Kody doesn’t want an ‘intimate marriage’ with Christine
In the clip for the upcoming episode (via People), Christine talks about how she and Kody were putting a door in for her bedroom. She says that Kody was worried about the cat getting into her room.
Christine asked him, “‘I need to know, is the door just about the cat and it’s not about us having an intimate side of our marriage?'” She reveals, “He goes, ‘I’m not really interested in that anymore.'”
Christine is holding back tears, recounting the conversation she had with Kody. She says, ‘And he goes, ‘I’m really not interested in having an intimate marriage anymore. I don’t like your behavior. We will see if you can be a good sister wife.'”
The Sister Wives star explained to Kody that not having an intimate marriage isn’t what she wants. She said, “That’s not enough for me. I can’t not have an intimate marriage.”
Kody is not attracted to Christine anymore
Christine reveals that after the conversation, she went to bed alone. In the morning, it was awkward between them. She says, “He just went downstairs, made himself breakfast, and left.”
The Sister Wives star reflects on the end of her marriage. She says, “I don’t know what to do. I’m heartbroken. My heart is shattered, to be honest with you.
She reveals the signs that she and Kody’s marriage ended after they weren’t intimate on their wedding anniversary on March 25, 2020. he says, “It’s not that I am dumb.”
She reveals the heartbreaking reality that her husband isn’t physically attracted to her. he says, “And he said a while ago that he wasn’t attracted to me or anything.”
Christine admits, “So I just thought maybe it would get better. But it’s over. The intimate part of our marriage is over. And to be honest, I’m not OK with that. I’m not OK with staying in a marriage where there’s no intimacy.”
Christine moves Kody’s things from her house
In the upcoming episode (via ET), Kody films himself after discovering that his belongings have been packed up in boxes at Christine’s house. He says, “So I’ve been moved out of my house.”
Kody notices all of his belongings are packed up, labeled, and in boxes. He tells the cameras, “So I’m over at Christine’s again, and I noticed more boxes. Kody’s nightstand,’ ‘Kody’s clothes from dresser,’ ‘Kody’s bathroom stuff.'”
As he’s looking around at his things boxed up in his wife’s garage, he says, “Guess it’s time for me to talk to her about it.” He says, “I think I need to talk to her about how serious she is. before I really decide how I feel.”
Kody admits, “Honestly, I’m thinking about it a little bit. I’m not angry. It appears to be a game. But it might not be. don’t know.” He reveals, “I don’t know why, but I’m ambivalent. I almost don’t care.”
