‘Sister Wives’: Questions About the ‘Family Fund’ Loom After an Etsy Account is Discovered
It has been more than two years since Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Robyn Brown became monogamists by effectively chasing off Kody’s other three wives. In the years since the three original wives left the couple behind, there have been a lot of questions about the distribution of “family” funds. While Kody Brown tried to pin the family’s financial problems on his ex-wife, Janelle Brown, she’s not taking the fall this time.
Now, fans have done some digging and think they knew where much of the “family fund” went. An Etsy account believed to belong to Robyn Brown has been busy purchasing doll clothing and accessories. If the account is hers, she has spent tens of thousands of dollars on the hobby.

Robyn Brown is believed to have spent a small fortune on dolls and doll accessories
Sister Wives fans have spent years figuring out where the Brown family money has gone. Now, they think they’ve stumbled upon the answer. An Etsy account believed to belong to Robyn Brown has been discovered.
Reddit users combed through hundreds of purchases made by the shopper over the last several years. According to The Ashley Reality Roundup Group, one user tallied up the purchases, noting that over $60,000 was spent on the collectible doll hobby and housewares. The account owner made over 100 purchases on the platform in 2024 alone.
While Robyn Brown has not confirmed it is her account, multiple clues tie her to the username. In several reviews, the account owner mentions a daughter the same age as one of Robyn’s older children. A review for a “junk journal” also hints at her ownership of the account. Robyn gifted a similar item to Meri Brown during season 19 of Sister Wives. The username also includes parts of the TV personality’s first and maiden name.
The account has since had its purchase history made private. Despite that, it’s still easy to tell that the account owner regularly uses the platform. She has over 200 shops marked as favorites. They sell a variety of wares, although most deal in doll collecting.
Meri Brown and Janelle Brown have both posed questions about the ‘family fund’

Robyn Brown’s alleged Etsy activity sheds light on a potential spending problem. It might also explain why the group’s “family fund” always seemed a bit light. While the family’s reality TV series has been incredibly successful, the Browns have often bemoaned money troubles. Their financial troubles were heavily featured on Sister Wives.
In recent years, both Meri Brown and Janelle Brown have hinted that something is wrong with the family fund. Despite paying into the fund, Meri revealed that she could rarely pull from it. Meri paid her mortgage, her child’s college tuition, and their car payments from a separate account. Kody Brown also shot down the idea of using “family funds” for the small inn Meri wished to buy, claiming the money was unavailable.
Janelle Brown has also called into question Kody and Robyn’s spending habits. In a recent episode of Sister Wives, Janelle revealed that she had never been “in charge” of the family’s fund. Instead, she says, she collected transaction information and forwarded it to an accountant. Janelle insisted that she was completely unaware of where much of the money went, although she made it clear it hadn’t gone to aid her.
