Sister Wives star, Robyn Brown, doesn’t have many fans. In fact, the mother of five is among the most disliked members of the Brown family, often coming in second to her plural husband, Kody Brown. Robyn’s statements during TLC’s tell-all episodes haven’t garnered her more fans, either. Some fans are livid over her statements about Christine Brown. Kody’s fourth wife did appear to shade Christine several times during her one-on-one interview.  

Robyn Brown claims Christine Brown ‘didn’t even try’ to repair her marriage 

Robyn Brown, Kody’s fourth and legal wife, has had a lot to say about Christine Brown’s decision to leave her husband and move away from the Brown family. At one point in the tell-all episode, Robyn appeared to shade Christine. Through tears, Robyn claimed Christine “didn’t even try” to make her marriage to Kody work.

Robyn’s critique was the latest in a long line of statements that Sister Wives viewers have considered antagonistic and manipulative. Christine opted to walk away from Kody after he revealed that he had no interest in an intimate relationship with her. The moment she packed up his things and essentially evicted him from her home was captured by TLC cameras.  

Reddit users point out that Robyn isn’t only judging Christine’s decision, but she’s trying to compare herself to Christine. Robyn claimed she continued to “try” to make her own first marriage work well past the point when Christine tapped out of her marriage to Kody. The comparison, argue some fans, doesn’t even make sense. Robyn was married to her first husband, David Jessop, for about eight years. She was his only wife. Christine spent more than 25 years with Kody and battled feelings of jealousy and inferiority almost the entire time. Comparing her own experience to Christine’s seems petty.

The Brown family has long insisted that they keep their relationships separate. In short, Kody isn’t supposed to be talking to his wives about the others. He certainly isn’t supposed to be cluing his other wives into his marital problems with any given wife. Fans quickly pointed out that Robyn seems to know too much if that rule is still in play.

During each tell-all episode, Robyn has spoken with a great deal of authority about Kody’s relationships with his other wives. Fans are starting to suspect that Kody is bringing his romantic issues to Robyn and discussing them openly. Her comments about Kody and Christine’s relationship were the last straw for many fans. Some Sister Wives fans believe Robyn’s statements not only aimed to throw shade at Christine but are proof that Kody is confiding in Robyn in a way he isn’t supposed to. Family followers are certain the two are in a monogamist marriage, and they are hoping the third installment’s teased bombshell has to do with that. It likely won’t.

The third installment of the Sister Wives tell-all episode will air on TLC on February 20 at 10 pm. Discovery+ subscribers will have access to the event hours earlier. The first two parts of the tell-all episode are available for streaming now.
