How to watch ‘Sister Wives’ Season 19

Want to keep up with the latest Brown family drama? Sister Wives Season 19 will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.

Cord-cutters should also be able to watch the new season. While some recent TLC shows (such as the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8 tell-all) have not streamed on Max immediately after they air, that shouldn’t be the case for Sister Wives. A list of new shows coming to the streaming service in September 2024 includes Sister Wives Season 19, with a release date of Sept. 15.

Interested in seeing how the Brown family has changed over the years? All episodes of Sister Wives Seasons 1-18 are available to stream on both Max and discovery+.

While the adults in the Brown family are going their separate ways in season 19, there’s still some significant tension between Kody and his ex-wives.

In December 2022, Kody and Meri confirmed they were separating after more than 30 years together. While their marriage had been troubled for years, Meri pinpoints one specific event as the real start of the relationship breakdown.

“You know how he’s been acting, the things he’s been saying for years. And we haven’t had a relationship for a long time. Ever since we moved to Flagstaff,” she tells a friend in a clip from the season 19 premiere (via Instagram).

“I mean, when we moved there, he was like, ‘Oh, this will be a great time for a new beginning.’ He seemed very positive about it. And it just kind of went downhill,” she adds.

In an interview, Meri said that she “felt sad” for her former husband, who mshe thought was performing mental gymnastics to rewrite the Brown family history. She also pointed out that when she and Kody married in 1990, Robyn was still a child.

“I honestly feel sad for him. If that’s what he’s having to tell himself to justify that he and I started this family,” she said. “Like why? Because Robyn was only 10 at the time? 12?”

“This is honestly how I’ve felt for quite, quite a long time,” she adds. “He says these things to push me out. Because if he can push me out and I leave, then he’s not the bad guy cause he didn’t walk away.”
