‘Sister Wives’ Spoilers: Christine Brown Says That Therapy With Kody Unearthed Shocking Grudges
In the upcoming part three of the Sister Wives tell-all interviews, the host, Sukanya Krishnan, talks to Christine Brown and Kody Brown about the end of their marriage. In the ‘One-on-One’ interviews, Christine reveals that she was “shocked” that Kody has been holding grudges against her for so long.
Christine says therapy with Kody unearthed things that ‘shocked’ her
In a sneak preview of the upcoming episode (via ET), Christine revealed that couples’ therapy with Kody unearthed shocking information. She said she learned many new things about her marriage to Kody.
Christine said, “Oh my gosh, you hold grudges way longer than I do. Way longer.” She said, “Stuff that shocked me completely.”
Christine reveals how setting boundaries changed the dynamic of her marriage
Christine explains what caused the most significant change in her marriage to Kody. She said that she used to “be always positive and upbeat and ‘whatever you need’ and ‘absolutely.'”
In part 2 of the Sister Wives tell-all interviews, Christine had explained that she had become the ‘basement wife’ by not setting boundaries and doing anything Kody and her sister wives asked of her.
Christine revealed, “It’s so funny. It’s like I didn’t mind. It’s what I did, and it was completely fine until it wasn’t.” She explained. “All of a sudden, I just realized I couldn’t anymore.”
The Sister Wives star said one heart-to-heart conversation with her father changed everything. She revealed, “My dad talked to me. It was actually my dad.”
She said, “My dad … is the sweetest, most loving guy. He’s like, ‘At what point are you going to start saying no?’ And he goes, ‘You’re always saying yes to everything. When are you going to start saying no.'” And I’m like, ‘Oh gosh.'”
Kody denies that he holds grudges
During Kody’s interview, he talked about his marriage to Christine. He said, “We get to a point where it’s [a] great experience, and it’s a struggle.” He explains, “And then we end up in Las Vegas after she’s told me she hates plural marriage, while she’s at the same time pretty much telling the whole world how awesome it is.”
When the host asked Kody about holding grudges, Kody completely denied what Christine said. He tells the host, “I don’t carry grudges. No, if somebody says I hold a grudge, they’re full of it. They don’t know who I am. They don’t know me.”
Hopefully, there will be more information about what kind of grudges Kody was holding against Christine. Part 3 of Sister Wives tell-all airs Sunday, Feb. 20 on TLC and discovery+.
