‘Sister Wives’ Star Christine Brown ‘Ran Off’ Love Interest Before Robyn Brown Joined the Family

Kody Brown and Christine Brown spiritually divorced in 2021. Just recently, Meri Brown revealed that Christine had run off women interested in joining the plural family before Robyn became Kody's fourth and now only wife.

Christine Brown left Kody Brown in November 2021. The announcement didn’t shock Sister Wives fans, who watched Christine flounder in her plural marriage for years. While Christine admits she was unhappy from the time Robyn Brown joined the family, Meri Brown recently revealed Christine’s marital distress and unhappiness with her plural lifestyle might have stretched back much longer. She recently revealed that Christine Brown “ran off” women who Kody hoped would join his plural family before Robyn appeared on the scene.

Christine Brown ran off Kody Brown’s love interests

The Brown family’s dynamic has always been complicated. Plural marriage is uncommon, and mainstream society has been fascinated with how the Brown family operated for years. Fans have always questioned exactly how new wives were added to the group. Meri Brown opened up more about that dynamic during a podcast interview.

During an appearance on Miss Understood, Meri Brown recalled an incident that she said Christine Brown was ‘very proud” of. She revealed that before Robyn Brown was introduced to the family, other ladies had caught Kody Brown’s eye. Meri said that Christine “ran off” at least one love interest when she decided she was not a good fit for the family. Meri’s comment made it sound like there might have been more than one woman deterred by Christine, but she refused to elaborate further.

While Christine Brown has always been a fan favorite on Sister Wives, she still has critics who don’t believe she was always “all-in” on living a plural lifestyle. Several critics have posited that Christine never wanted to add a fourth wife to the family. Meri’s story, as vague as it was, indicates that their theory could be true.

Is anyone interested in living a plural lifestyle any longer?

Sister Wives fans watched the Browns essentially implode on national TV. In 18 months, three of Kody Brown’s four wives left him behind. He declared his disinterest in living as a plural family even before that. Now that the dust has settled on the plural marriage, could any of the Browns be persuaded to try the lifestyle again?
