‘Sister Wives’: Why Christine Brown Leaves Marriage to Kody and Packs Up His Things
On the Jan 16 episode of Sister Wives, Christine Brown decides that her marriage is over after Kody Brown talks seriously about their relationship. The Sister Wives star packs up his things and leaves them in the garage.
Christine leaves Kody after this revelation
During the preview for the upcoming Jan 23 episode of Sister Wives, Christine tells the cameras that she and Kody are done. She says, “We’re done. We’re not going to hang out again.”
Christine reveals that Kody is doing what he did to Meri. She explains, ‘He said, ‘I am not interested in having an intimate marriage anymore.'” Sister Wives fans recognize what Kody is doing, as he previously did this with Meri.
However, contrary to Meri, Christine admits, “I am not OK with staying in a marriage where there is no intimacy.”
Christine packs up Kody’s things
In the preview, Kody is filming on his phone in the garage of Christine’s house. He says, “I came out to the garage while I was at Christine’s house.” He shows boxes labeled “Kody’s books” and “Kody’s clothes.”
Kody tells the camera, “I guess I’ve been moved out of the house.” Meanwhile, Christine struggles to break the news to her and Kody’s six children. She says, “I don’t know what to tell my kids.”
Christine reflects on being the obedient wife
In the Jan 16 episode, Kody struggles to be “head of the house” or “head of the family” because Janelle and Christine have not been abiding by his rules. He mentions that Robyn is the “obedient wife.” Christine tells the cameras, “I used to be that wife.”
She continues, “I used to be super, like ‘Anything you want. Anything you say. Whatever you want, I used to be that wife. And I’m not anymore.” She reveals, “I’m head of my house. I am. I’m the one who’s present. I’m the one who’s around.”
Christine reveals that her children believe that Kody has favorites based on how much he’s been spending at Robyn’s house. She says, “It’s hard for the girl to respect their dad when they see he has favorites. And they, they struggle with how apparent it is, that he’s more comfortable at some houses than others.”
