‘Snowfall’ Fans Think They Already Know What’s Going to Happen to Franklin in Season 5
Snowfall has finally returned to FX — but not from where it left off. The show jumped forward more than a year to 1986, a time when the illegal drug trade was booming. Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) is at his highest point, with millions of dollars to his name and the ability to have whatever he wants. The only bad thing is that he can only go down from here. Though there are several episodes to go, some fans already think they know what’s going to happen by the Snowfall Season 5 finale.
Some fans are expecting the worse for Franklin in ‘Snowfall’ Season 5
When a fan posed the question on Reddit, predictions for Franklin’s outcome in Snowfall Season 5 came rolling it. “Franklin has now become too powerful, Smart & uncontrollable for others around him. So……They’re going to seek ways to get him off the board,” they wrote. “Do you agree?”
Many did and predicted in the comment section that Franklin would be betrayed by someone close to him. “He’ll most likely go down due to a betrayal. One of his people will be his downfall,” one comment read. “has to be,” said another. “It’s already lining up that way. nobody is touching him within the drug game, only someone close to him that he (at least somewhat) trusts can take him down now. Or reed lol.”
Most people figured it would be Aunt Louie (Angela Lewis) because she’s been clashing with Franklin at the same time as Officer Buckley pressuring her to give someone up to the police. However, she wasn’t the only guess. Names such as Veronique (Devyn Tyler), Leon Simmons (Isaiah John), and Melody Wright (Reign Edwards) also came up.
There were also other predictions about his fate, including the idea that Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson) would be the reason for his downfall. One person thought his operation would fall apart and “blow up Franklins spot in the process.”
Although there are various ideas about how it might happen, it’s clear most think Franklin will eventually land in bars.
Franklin’s downfall was hinted at by Damson Idris
We’ll have to wait to see what happens exactly, but it seems safe to say that it won’t be good. Idris himself hinted at that in an interview ahead of the premiere.
“I think we’re going to see a joyful side to Franklin this year,” he told BlackTreeTV. “But you know, all great things and happy things must come to an end.”
Idris hinted to GQ that some of his problems would emerge within his own circle. “There’s definitely a huge static and fracture within the families. So, I guess it’s more of the same mayhem,” he told the magazine.
