Some ‘Sister Wives’ Viewers Call on TLC to End Series, Claim Kody Brown Is a ‘Narcissist’ and ‘Cruel’ Toward Wives
On the heels of the Sister Wives tell-all, where Kody Brown took center stage to bluntly discuss his relationships with several of his wives, some viewers appear to have had enough of the way the reality star has behaved this season. Several viewers have called on TLC to end the series in the comments of a social media post. They claim that Brown is “emotionally cruel” and “gaslighting” wives Meri, Janelle, Robyn, and ex-wife Christine.

In the first of three tell-all episodes, Sister Wives pulled back the covers on the longtime problems of the Brown family.
Kody Brown was asked by show host Sukanya Krishnan about handling his relationships throughout the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Krishnan asked the reality star if the pandemic shone a light on current personal issues or these existed ahead of the lockdown.
In response, Kody shared his side of the story regarding his relationships with Christine, Robyn, Janelle, and Meri.
Kody became defensive at times, reacting harshly to Krishnan’s questioning where she suggested he emotionally abandoned his wives. He vented the host and claimed he “resented” that term and asked her to take back her claim.
The patriarch of the Brown family also insisted that he had not abandoned his wives but insisted they leave him if they were not happy in their marriages.

In the comments section of the above Facebook post, some viewers of the TLC series made strong claims against the way they believe Kody behaved not only on the first episode of the tell-all but throughout the 16th season of the series.
They called on TLC to cancel the series.
“TLC, stop enabling this cruel/gaslighting, narcissist of a man to continue to control women and make money doing it! He is as bad as the Duggars. This show needs to end,” wrote one fan whose comment received over 1,000 likes.
“What family? He and Christine are divorced. He hates Meri and wants Janelle to kick her sons out so he can see her maybe once and a while whenever Kody’s favorite wife Robyn allows it. The show used to be entertaining, and now it’s just sad and disgusting,” responded a second follower.
“Don’t forget when he referred to Christine taking their daughter for her surgery as ‘another vacation.’ What?! He said that about the woman who raised, in large part, ALL of his children. Doesn’t it just leave you with your blood boiling?” wrote a third Facebook user.
“The show it’s just aiding his behavior,” penned a fourth Sister Wives viewer.
