Sophie Turner’s Favorite Piece of Visual Art is a Jonas Brother
They’ve been married for less than a year, and even for newlyweds, Sophie Turner and Joe Jones are clearly smitten with each other. Add to that the fact that Turner is pretty outspoken about what she feels, and the result is some pretty great quotes from the young bride. Recently Turner did an Instagram Q & A to pass a little COVID-19 isolation time, and one of her responses made it clear that the honeymoon isn’t over yet.
Sophie Turner is an accomplished young actress
Turner is an English actress who is best known for her debut role as Sansa Stark on the HBO smash hit Game of Thrones. She was only 15 when the series began, so young that she finished high school on set with a tutor.
Turner’s portrayal of Sansa earned her critical acclaim and lots of fans. Game of Thrones ended last year, and Turner was a part of it to the end. During her years on Game of Thrones, Turner appeared in a handful of other projects, including the movies X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
The actress is next scheduled to appear in the movie Survive, which will be available April 6 on the innovative streaming service Quibi.
Sophie Turner found love young too
Turner was only 20 years old when she met Jonas. He was touring the U.K., and when he came near the town she lived in, he sent her a message, asking if she’d meet him for a drink.
She was dubious at first, but she took a chance and met up with him. The chemistry was undeniable from the beginning, and the two spent the entire evening sitting in a corner, talking.
“It wasn’t small talk—it was just so easy,” she says. “And soon we were, like, inseparable.”
Turner joined Jonas on tour, and their relationship took off. Pretty soon they were one of Hollywood’s most enviable pairs.
The happy couple got married — twice — in 2019. The first time they tied the knot in Las Vegas, to make the marriage legal, and again in a gorgeous ceremony in France later that year. If all that happy news weren’t enough, they are reportedly expecting a baby this summer.
Sophie let the world know what she thinks of her husband
Neither Turner nor Jonas is afraid to show how they feel on social media. On International Woman’s Day, which is March 8, Jonas posted several photos of his wife and his mom.
“To all the bad ass Women in my life happy #internationalwomensday ❤️” he wrote, “here’s a couple of extra special ones love you @sophiet love ya @mamadjonas.”
Turner is happy to return the love, with posts like the one that she captioned: “Happiness begins with you, bub 🌹”
But it’s not enough for her to tell her husband how much she loves him. She likes to let the rest of the internet know about it too.
Recently Turner decided to kill a little social isolation time with an Instagram Q&A. Turner fielded questions from fans, giving them a glimpse into who she is.
One person asked her what her favorite TV shows are. She responded that she is a fan of Barry, Killing Eve, and Hunters, but she couldn’t resist a shoutout to the show that made her famous, saying, “Game of Thrones is also littyyyyyyyyy.”
One of the questions seemed fairly unremarkable, just a fan asking, “What is your favorite piece of visual art?” The actress made the query more interesting, though, answering by tagging her husband @joejonas.
There’s no question that Jonas is pretty cute. But what might be even more adorable is this sweet couple and how highly they think of each other.
