‘Southern Charm’: Cameran Eubanks Reveals If Leaving the Show Had Anything to Do With Husband Cheating Rumors
It’s a sad day in the Bravo world when your favorite stars decide to leave a show, but that is exactly what is happening with Cameran Eubanks. The southern bell announced that she would not be returning to Southern Charm in an Instagram comment earlier this week. But now fans are wondering why Eubanks is calling it quits with the show that made her famous.
Cameran Eubanks’ announcement
When most stars leave a show, they make lengthy announcements on their social media accounts. Eubanks sort of announced her exit by accident.
She posted a picture of her with her former co-star Patricia Altschul, with the caption, “Remember going out to eat with friends?! Can’t wait until we can do it again. ❤️@pataltschul @eddieirions I miss our dates!”
A fan commented, asking when the show would resume.
“Missing the show! When are you returning? 💕,” they wrote.
And Eubanks dropped a bomb.
“I will not be returning,” she said.
Did Cameran Eubanks’ husband cheat on her?
Eubanks’ marriage has been a topic of discussion on the show since it premiered in 2014, mostly because Eubanks has chosen to keep her relationship out of the spotlight. When she announced that she was leaving Southern Charm, people wondered if it had anything to do with rumors that her husband had been unfaithful. She recently took to Instagram to shut those down.
“I was going to make a kind statement about why I decided to leave the show tomorrow however it has come to my attention that insidious rumors are now spreading and fake articles are being written…some of which pertain to my marriage,” she wrote.
She went on to say that this was the exact reason that she kept her relationship off the screen. She always wanted to protect her marriage and her husband.
“What upsets me most is that my husband, who is the most sincere and faithful human I know, is being falsely dragged into this,” she wrote. “It disgusts me. He always supported me filming the show, even though he wanted no part in the spotlight.”

She continued, saying that the drama was absolutely made up.
“Drama is needed to stay relevant on reality television and sadly false rumors about others are sometimes created,” she continued. “Make of that what you will and consider the source. My decision was made and given to Bravo months ago and had absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous and false rumors about my marriage. Please disregard any fabricated rumor.”
And with all of these rumors going around, Eubanks thinks that she made the right decision to leave.
“My gut has never failed me,” she said. “To all of the genuine and kind fans, cast and crew that I have worked with through the years and had the pleasure of knowing…thank you.”
How will season 7 be?
Filming for season 7 is currently on pause due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. But before the break, filming was going well.
“It was really good,” Eubanks’ old castmate Craig Conover told Decider. “It’s a bummer with this unprecedented situation but it really felt like we got back to our roots. It’s very organic and transparent.”
Everyone showed up to the show ready to film.
“[After] having such a long break, everyone kinda came in full steam ahead, so it was pretty wild and a lot of drama,” he continued. “Everyone basically kept what was going on in their lives and the cameras showed up and started to catch all the drama that happens in our everyday life. It was really good.”
There has been no word on when production will resume.
