‘Southern Charm’: Leva Bonaparte Talks About Cameran Eubanks’ Chances of Returning
Leva Bonaparte jointed the cast of Southern Charm in season 7, the same season Cameran Eubanks stopped appearing in. Both reality TV personalities have been friends for a long time and some fans wanted to see them interact on the show. When Bonaparte appeared on Watch What Happens Live she was asked by a fan if there were any chances of Eubanks to return to the reality series.
Why did Cameran Eubanks leave the show?
Eubanks was expected to appear on Southern Charm Season 7, according to a recent interview with Craig Conover. The latter said that The Real World alum was set to film a scene with him but opted out “all of a sudden.”
“Yeah. I mean, you know, up until a day before filming, she was going to be filming with me and then all of a sudden she wasn’t, so I don’t know what happened, but something happened,” Conover told Us Weekly.
Eubanks and Conover have been with the show since the first season and it was a loss that was felt across the cast. When filming for the current season started there was a rumor that Kathryn Dennis dropped. The allegations were that Eubanks’ husband had been cheating on her. Eubanks came out to denounce the claims and confirmed she was not returning to the Bravo series.
“I was going to make a kind statement about why I decided to leave the show tomorrow,” Eubanks wrote in a statement on Instagram in May 2020. “However, it has come to my attention that insidious rumors are now spreading and fake articles are being written … some of which pertain to my marriage.”
The reality TV personality went on to say that her decision to leave the show was not due to the rumors.
“Drama is needed to stay relevant on reality television and sadly false rumors about others are sometimes created,” she added. “Make of that what you will and consider the source. My decision was made and given to Bravo months ago and had absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous and fake rumors about my marriage. Please disregard any fabricated rumor.”
Is there a possibility of Cameran Eubanks coming back?
When Bonaparte made an appearance on WWHL, she talked about the chances of Eubanks returning to the show. For fans that were hopeful of a Eubanks comeback, the future looks grim.
“I don’t know if she’d come back, I don’t think it really serves her anymore,” Bonaparte told the fan. “I think she’s onto other things in her life.”
Bonaparte also said that it was good Eubanks was not on the show as she felt she was able to establish a friendship with the rest of the cast.
“I think I would’ve just stuck to Cam if she had been here and so I think that was kind of cool. I’ve gotten closer to Madison [LeCroy] and some of the guys,” Bonaparte explained.
However, the restauranteur does confess that she misses Eubanks because they have a lot of fun together as she feels they are “girl soulmates.”
Southern Charm airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
