‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ Cast: All Confirmed Actors Returning, From ‘New Girl’ Jake Johnson to ‘Hawkeye’ Hailee Steinfeld

The sequel to ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ picks up where the first left off, and here are all the confirmed returning actors for the ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ cast.

Despite being one of the most popular superheroes, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse marked the first animated cinematic movie. However, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse looks to bump the webhead’s count to two with a sequel for Miles Morales. Here’s every confirmed returning star, from New Girl actor Jake Johnson, Hawkeye actor Hailee Steinfeld and more in the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse cast.

‘New Girl’ actor Jake Johnson returns in the ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ cast as Peter B. Parker

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse featured a very different Peter Parker. After 22 years of fighting Doctor Octopus, The Lizard, and a rough divorce from MJ Watson, fans have jokingly called him ‘mid-life crisis’ Spider-Man online.

And Jake Johnson gave a perfect performance, making Peter B. Parker sound tired but not emotionless. And Johnson confirmed this web-slinger would make a return in the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse cast.

“Well, I’ve been working on a contract. I believe Peter B. Parker is making a return,” Johnson told The Movie Dweeb in 2021. “I heard nothing for the longest time, and I was very sad because I loved playing Peter B. Parker.”

Playing Peter Parker at the same time as the massively successful Tom Holland Spider-Man can be a tough match-up. However, Johnson delivered so much that fans wanted his New Girl co-stars like Lamorne Morris to play characters like the Prowler.

“I would like to know what happens with Peter B. Parker. I think the way his journey ended in the first movie was very open-ended. And so when I got word that they were working on a deal and figuring it all out, I thought I can’t wait to see what the writers came up with.”

Marvel’s Kate Bishop from ‘Hawkeye,’ actor Hailee Steinfeld, returns as Gwen Stacy in the ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ cast

Hailee Steinfeld starred with Jeremy Renner in Hawkeye on Disney+, turning into the new MCU archer.

However, the Kate Bishop actor has a very different superhero name in the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse picks up right where the previous let off. The first movie ended with Steinfeld’s Spider-Woman reaching out to Miles Morales across dimensions. It seemed only natural for Steinfeld to return along with a few other key members in the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse cast.

Fans heard her in the first Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer, confirming the Spider-Woman actor’s return.

Shameik Moore returns to voice Miles Morales

Of course, the main character’s voice actor returns for the sequel. For Shameik Moore, Miles Morales borrowed the actor’s voice bringing his unique Spider-Man to the big screen for the first time.

The Shameik Moore Spider-Man had a nervous energy as he tried to learn his new powers and save the world at the same time.
