We are sure that none of the rumors surrounding Spider-Man: No Way Home ever included Jimmy Kimmel playing one of the members of the Sinister Six. During a taping of his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host revealed that he plays the sixth villain of the Sinister Six in the film. Of course, Kimmel was not serious and is not actually in Spider-Man: No Way Home. But the alternate trailer he showed was still hilarious.

Jimmy Kimmel spoofs the ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ trailer

During Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show, the host showed his audience a parody of the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. In the video, Kimmel plays the comic book villain, Kraven the Hunter. And, we have to say, his costume is quite loyal to the comic books.

A scene in the original trailer shows Doctor Octopus telling Peter, MJ, and Ned his real name, and the teenagers laugh at him. In Kimmel’s version, it’s Kraven in place of Doctor Octopus. Kimmel breaks the fourth wall by turning to the camera and saying, “They call me Kraven the Hunter,” in a thick Russian accent.

Later in the spoof trailer, Kraven asks Peter, “Are you ready to have your head hanging on my wall in my den?” Then, he joins the other villains to fight Spider-Man.

Once the alternate Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer ended, Jimmy Kimmel told the audience, “It’s really a dream come true.”

Who are the Sinister Six?

As many fans can deduce, Jimmy Kimmel will not be playing a villain in Spider-Man: No Way Home. But, Kraven the Hunter is one of the original members of the Sinister Six in the comic books.

Kraven is known as one of the greatest adversaries to Spider-Man. He is Russian and one of the world’s most skilled hunters. Many fans do believe that Kraven might be in the third Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man movie. At the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, a post-credits scene showed Kraven’s spear. And Jon Watts, director of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man films, stated in the past that he would love to include Kraven in the franchise.

The Sinister Six is a group of six supervillains who band together to take down Spider-Man. The original members include Kraven the Hunter, Vulture, Electro, Mysterio, Sandman, and the group’s organizer, Doctor Octopus. Neither Sony nor Marvel has confirmed the presence of the Sinister Six in Spider-Man: No Way Home. But their inclusion in the film would make sense given the trailer.
