Spider-Man: No Way Home pulled together four different continuities of Spider-Man heroes and foes. The Tom Holland movie used elements from Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man, and Tom Hardy’s Venom. However, Marvel wanted more. As Dr. Strange struggled to contain the multiverse, fans spotted several Spider-Man villain silhouettes. Among the Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans allegedly saw the Superior Spider-Man.

Who is the Superior Spider-Man?

If Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse proved anything, it was that Marvel has dozens and dozens of Spider-people to spare. While Marvel comics fans know the significance of the Superior Spider-Man, casual fans might want more info.

Over Peter Parker’s 60 years of comics, he has endured many phases of life — including just being dead for a while.

When Dr. Octopus learned that death would soon come for him, he hatched a final plan to swap his mind with Peter. And he actually succeeded.

Marvel killed off Peter Parker in Doc Ock’s body but gave his dying wish to Otto Octavius for him to protect the city. Doc Ock swore to honor the wish and vows to become a Superior Spider-Man.

The series became an intriguing, bizarre, and unique fan-favorite version of Spider-Man. However, considering all of the moving parts, such a complicated plot might prove difficult to adapt.

Some fans think they spotted the Superior Spider-Man among the No Way Home villain silhouettes.

And a few of these visitors appeared on the edges of the cracks. ComicBook.com found a fan video identifying many of them.

One fan on TikTok identified several figures, including the Superior Spider-Man with his four mechanical arms.

While Marvel fans might think of the Iron Spider suit that Holland has used, Doc Ock also made his own mechanical arms in the comics.

Does this mean a Doc Ock – Peter Parker hero could appear in an upcoming movie?

Naturally, fans might assume this cameo means the character could appear soon.

However, the Superior Spider-Man would prove challenging to adapt.

The stars aligned for the Marvel Comics storyline to turn out as well as it did. In addition to phenomenal writer Dan Slott and artist Ryan Stegman, several other events led to the story turning out as well as it did.
